"The work was completed gradually over a four month period. Just purchased this house and there were many projects. Mose was wonderful to work with and his finish carpentry skills are amazing. Absolutely love what he completed and this will certainly add value to our home!"
"We were needing to frame in our 1100 SQFT. basement so we could finish it. We talked to 3 carpenters and Andrew was by far the best and knew things the other’s didn’t. He was on time and on budget and walked us through everything step by step. If you are looking for an honest and trustworthy carpenter look no further."

"Replacing the doors was a tough job. Ed had to cut block/brick out to resize the opening to fit a standard size door. This also meant a new door framing to be completed first before the door was fitted into place. New flashing was formed to cover exposed wood around doors along with new bottom sills. The family room took a little more work to complete than expected, but by no fault of Mr.Compton and Matt. Found a covered window behind the wall. We elected to have 2 new windows installed and they also had to have block/brick cut out for new window size and new framing. The room required all new studs, new drywall to be finished, ready for paint. Some electric wiring was performed for new outlets plus new breaker in electric panel added. We elected to do the painting and finish trim work. Over all for both jobs and work performed was excellent. job site was cleaned up daily. Both Ed and Matt was friendly and polite."

"So he was almost a hour late on arrival then when I arrived this morning the door sticks the frame is crooked and the floor dosent meet the door jam so there’s a gap"
"I hired Window Worx for a variety of tasks: 1) replacement of rotten wood surrounding picture Windows and the window sill; 2) replacement of wood supports of my deck; and 3) restoration of a portico over my back door that included replacement of rotted wood and fixing the flashing. Work was done on site and included carpentry, painting and complete clean-up. Owner Bryan and son Tyler did nice work and were knowledgeable and communicated well. I would hire them again."
Framing most homes takes anywhere between five and eight weeks to complete. You’ll need to account for inclement weather conditions, material shipment times, the number of crew members, and the weight of your materials. If the weather is too hot, wet, or cold for the installation, this process could take closer to eight weeks.
Yes, professional installations include reinforced corner posts to ensure durability.
A cross brace for a fence gate should stretch from the top corner of the gate’s hinge side to the bottom corner of its latch side at a 45-degree angle to the bottom of the gate. This positioning distributes the bulk of the gate’s weight to the base of the post, taking pressure off the top hinge.
The cost to frame a 2,000-square-foot house can fall anywhere between $14,000 and $32,000. This price can increase or decrease depending on what type of framing you choose, the quality of the materials, the project's complexity, and whether you decide to hire a professional to do the job.
Balcony construction or replacement typically requires a building permit from your local permitting authority. Safety and building integrity are the main reasons for the need to obtain a permit and the subsequent inspections. In some cases, especially cantilevered balconies, your municipality may also require the oversight and signature of a structural engineer.
