Tom shirked his responsibility, took money from me, and never returned, despite texts. Although he did so some outside work, he failed to follow-up on the inside work and I had to hire another contractor. Beware! He used to do good work, but now . . .

Interior Trim and Decorative Moldings Installation
My wife and I remodeled a one-story room on the back of our house this year. The new windows for this space have red oak jamb extensions on three sides. I had custom made sills and molding made for the windows. It was rather expensive wood and I did not want to give the job to just anyone. I found Tom's excellent reviews online and took a chance. He does fantastic work and we are so pleased with the outcome. The red oak trim and windows are such a pleasure to look at each day. If you need carpentry work just call Tom and don't waste your time talking to others.

He did the work he said he would do, when he said he would do it and for a reasonable price. The job ended up more complicated than expected but he went the extra mile, solved the problem and did excellent work. I have already recommended him to a friend.

Wood Stairs and Railings Installation and Replacement
Great job by Tom. He repaired and replaced open-riser stairs in home. He definitely knows his craft. He was knowledgeable and fair-priced. It was hard to find a contractor to add risers and a back to old stairs, and this is Tom’s specialty. Very happy with his work! Highly recommend.

I hired Tom to install 10 interior doors and I'm so glad I did! He did a beautiful job and was at all times professional, neat, and thorough. He was reasonably priced, too. This man is a very skilled carpenter with many years of experience and it sure shows in the high quality of his work. When you're looking for a finish carpenter, look no further than Tom Burdette. Wood Stairs and Railings Installation and Replacement
We are absolutely pleased with the work that Tom did for us. He installed a wooden/metal stair railing in our home and did an outstanding job. The railing looked better than we could have ever imagined, and we were very happy with the finished project. Tom was easy to communicate with, fairly priced, and always made sure to clean up after he was done working for the day. I am also fairly certain that he fixed a broken lock in our house without us ever asking him to do so. What a pleasant surprise. Definitely would recommend hiring him for any carpentry projects.
