They applied the scotch guard with a tank sprayer (the kind of hand pump sprayer you use on your lawn to kill weeds) and just walked the area. They are the professionals, but I do not think you get an even application by walking with a tank sprayer (could be wrong and there is no way to prove how well the scotch guard was applied). Just a note: you get your carpets cleaned and the cleaners wear their shoes from the street on your carpet. They cannot wear some type of protection on their shoes so that they do not ditty the rugs they are cleaning?. When they scotch guard they are walking on wet clean carpet with their shoes on."
