"I hired TNT Services Plus to install several water heaters as well as repair a few plumbing issues in several of my properties. Tommy was very professional, knowledgeable and had a great personality. Communication was prompt and thorough, and prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend TNT Services Plus."

"Josh was very professional and arrived at my house in the time frame he told me. You can tell he takes pride in his work because he went out his way to fix something that wasn’t even on the list. I was very happy with his work. If you need plumbing work, I would highly recommend him. Thank you Josh."

"They were very good with initial response, estimate, and install date. The quality of the install was mediocre; attention to detail, not so much. They did not worry too much about cleanup after the job, several examples of that; I have un-removable black goo on my driveway. There was supposed to be a two week follow-up visit and I was going to address some of my questions and issues then but was scheduled twice and did not occur either time, no call no show the second time. I realize this all occurred during a peak time of year. The unit does work without difficulty and we are happy to have HVAC but I will probably go with another company for service and maintenance.

"This is the second time I have used Plumbing Installers to carry out work in my home, the first was for remodeling. I'm pleased to report their plumbers are as professional and knowledgeable as their remodeling team.
Scott identified my shower valve as being the source of a low flow and replaced it, which totally fixed the problem. They also fitted a new comfort height toilet for me which is much nicer than the builder's spec one and matches the one installed when they remodeled the other bathroom for us.
They're very friendly and punctual, called before arrival and left the area clean. They removed all their trash and the old toilet and talked me through the work they did.

"Basement Boost is Great! They have some awesome solutions for waterproofing the basement. The system they have is very thorough, and I love that they wrap the walls, and install a ventilation system. They were in and out, it was pretty straight-forward, and they did what they said they were going to do. I also had some foundation issues, that they recommended I take care of, and they were able to do that as well. I’m happy with the company."

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

Try to tighten the clevis crew and adjust the lift rod if your sink stopper won’t stay up. Sometimes your screws became too loose over time, and as a result, there wasn’t enough resistance to keep the sink stopper up. If a damaged lift rod is the cause of the problem, you will need to replace it with a new rod.

It is best practice to hire a plumber to install a bathroom sink and vanity. Even simple installations require basic plumbing work, such as connecting water supply lines and attaching the sink to the drainage system. While an experienced DIYer might manage a straightforward setup, any complex work, like modifying existing plumbing or installing new lines, should always be left to a licensed plumber to avoid the risk of expensive water damage. In most cases, a plumber will handle the installation, provided it is a straightforward job that does not require custom carpentry. It's important to outline your expectations with the plumber beforehand to confirm they can handle the full project.

Yes, a dripping faucet can increase your water bill. Leaking faucets use up more water than you’d think. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, a faucet that drips once per second can waste more than 3,000 gallons of water per year. If you have more than one dripping faucet, your water bill can increase even further.

The best option is to alter the plumbing. Moving and centering the drain pipe behind the sink usually does the trick and creates the sleek, minimalist look that pedestal sinks offer. If you don’t want to do any plumbing work, there are a few decorating hacks:

  • Painting the pipes

  • Placing shelves, plants, or baskets in front of the pipes

  • Adding a sink skirt

For safety when installing a vanity, attaching the vanity to the wall is ideal to prevent it from moving. Typically, sinks must be 4 inches away from bathtubs. Also, most states require that you have 21 inches in front of a sink, but the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) recommends 30 inches for more comfort.
