Founded in 1993 by Patrick Parish, our owner and in-home estimator, we began with only basement windows and word of mouth advertising. Today, we have done jobs as small as one basement window, and as large as an apartment complex renovation. Family owned and operated since 1944, Wallside sells directly to the homeowner, manufacturing and installing its own products. With a factory/showroom located in Taylor, Mich., the vinyl window manufacturer services two thirds of the lower peninsula of Michigan and northwest portions of Ohio.
"Had a couple windows installed on Tues. June 20th. The screen on one was ripped, the installer said they would put a order in right away and have it out this week. There was no signoff's on work. Some of the caulk jobs around the windows are a little sub-par for my liking. Not the best quality work. Called the office for clarification on when my screen would be here this week. They had no knowledge of it, and it had to be ordered. Now it'll be July 8th before they can get out here. Had used their competitor (Hansons) for my last house. The comparison between the two is much different. Will probably go back to Hansons for the rest of the house here."

If you’re replacing an interior door, it’s best to get the work done in the summer or winter, as door installation professionals are the least busy during these seasons and might charge lower labor costs based on the decreased demand. You can also potentially save money by hiring a professional to install your exterior door during these seasons, but most homeowners wait until the spring or fall so that the extreme temperatures don’t put added strain on their HVAC systems while the door is being added or replaced.

Additionally, we recommend you always hire a professional door installer to place an exterior door, as mistakes during the installation process can lead to poor security for your home.
