"Anthony & crew were terrific They showed up on schedule & completed the job in the agreed upon timing. Anthony discussed all plans in advance, didn’t change plans or move ahead w/ a couple of things that came to light once the actual work started without talking to us first. He is very pleasant and easy to work with. I have a couple of other jobs that will head his way once we get them going. I will hire them again. No question."

"I chose a different contractor.  Just a real personal quirk of mine -- I avoid working with folks who talk a lot.   I'm a solitary sort of person and don't like to be "kidnapped" into conversations I don't feel like having.
Dave followed up the next day and the next and I was uncomfortable with the way he came right into my house uninvited when I was getting an estimate from the second contractor.  He was all "up in my business."  It was a violation of personal boundaries for me.

"The floor installation went very well I’m super happy about how it turned out. Was done quickly, but they still paid a great attention to detail, and the workers were very nice. They took great care in making sure things were looking pristine from the moment they got to my home, and at the end of the installation"

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

Yes, most designers tailor plans to fit your budget. Discuss financial constraints during initial consultations.

Yes, integrating sustainable practices and energy efficiency into plans is common.

Yes, professionals will offer tailored solutions to fit architectural and personal style preferences.

Italianate architecture is a reinterpretation of Renaissance styles, combining elements of Italian farmhouses and villas with Victorian materials and construction. This home style emerged in the Victorian era, gaining popularity in the U.S. in the mid-to late-1800s. The style came about in response to what many then viewed as the too-rigid and stuffy Classical style designs.

Universal design costs can be minimal when you add them during construction; however, adding universal design principles to existing homes can sometimes increase renovation costs. For example, a mid-grade bathroom remodel is estimated to cost around $30,000, while a standard universal design remodel can cost closer to $40,000. Adding accessible design components can include widening hallways ($500 to $2,000), curbless showers ($2,000 to $8,000), and widening doors ($400 to $800). Keep in mind that these increased costs can lead to higher resale values because universal homes may appeal to a wider variety of buyers.
