"Signed a contract back on April 2, 2025. They were supposed to be out on Wednesday, May 21. They called me two hours before they were supposed to be here to cancel because of the chance of rain. We had zero rain here from 7:45 AM all the way to 3:30 PM. I wasted a vacation day as well. Contacted my salesman. He tells me he will get back to me. Here we are two days later and still no idea when the appointment is supposed to happen. Communication is poor at best. Amazing that a company that's been in business this long plays games like this."

"Not every custom builder can custom build – Winthrop Place Inc is a true exception It was a real pleasure to work with Michael and his crew. I already had a fully developed floor plan of what I wanted to build. We went over that in great detail made necessary adjustments and agreed on a start date. Having already build two houses from scratch I had no expectations of getting this basement completed below 4-5 months, so when Michael said he would do it in two - I honestly didn't believe him. I can only say how wrong I was, and how amazed I am at the level of his attention to details. My style is modern contemporary and I needed some custom work which I wasn't sure it could be done. Michael worked with me every step of the way and found resources who would be able to pull it off and the final product was exactly how I had envisioned it. Here's a list of things he pulled off - all which were important to me- 1. Create a floating table that straddles two basement support poles 12.5' apart - the material used was quartz and he had to support all 1100 lbs of it (42 sq ft) without any visible base or legs 2. Wall mount a concrete sink weighing over 300 lbs 3. Wall mounted large electric fireplace 4. Vinyl tile flooring - avoiding any type of visible pattern 5. Paint a 70' long wall to look like concrete 6. Vertically mount 4' x 2' pieces of giant ceramic tile on the riser of my bar Most custom builders wouldn't get past the first item on the list, Michael made it work within a very reasonable budget. "If you're on the fence and thinking about getting your floor coated, just do it. My floor had lots of pitting with some minor cracks. It's not just a coating of the floor it's a complete renovation. The links crew was fast and efficient and were able to explain every step of the process."

"Do not hire this compony - they left me with a complete disaster and completely unacceptable problem. They came out to view and then quoted a small commercial project in the Detroit Metro area. We signed the quotes, sent our deposits, and communicated continuously to make sure things were on track, up until the Friday before scheduled to start. We scheduled much other work around this and spent significant dollars and effort to prep for the floor project, paying plumbers, movers, etc. Then Friday before starting they CANCELLED the project, without so much as a phone call!! I only found out by calling them for further coordination and confirmation for the project!! In many years of construction management this was the worst corporate behavior and lack of responsibility to a paying customer that I have encountered. Terrible, unaccountable and unprofessional communication and now it all becomes the customers problem to deal with. Avoid this company! Hire a responsible company!!"

Tried to load photos of poor work that they ?fixed? but it failed to load them After 5 months told them that spots on floor would not come clean after cleaning floor So the came back out to fix spots & now they are a dark grey color on a light grey/white floor Looks horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So unprofessional!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
