"I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Home Genius Exteriors. The siding crew were skilled craftsmen who were respectful and hard-working. They went above and beyond capping our newly installed windows to give them matching profiles and a watertight finish, installed new light fixtures, and were kind and receptive to addressing minor issues during the final walkthrough. Their project manager Jason Ryan is a dream to work with. He kept us informed at every stage. His attention to detail is why everything turned out so beautifully. He has the difficult job of managing the project and stressed out homeowners (like me) with high expectations. He exceeded all of mine. "We had hired HAI previously (see previous review) and thought we could trust them to do a good job. We hired them to remodel our living room which entailed pulling out carpeting, installing vinyl flooring, smoothing the walls and painting, replacing the woodwork and removing a popcorn ceiling. We mentioned to them that we had freezing pipe issues in our family room that they previously remodeled because they installed water pipes in the ceiling that go to our washer. We asked that they discuss the issue with us but they refused. The living room was done poorly (walls very uneven and spotty, old woodwork in foyer left and painted over, gouges and all, etc.). We didn't know they were not returning when they left the last day, as they never said a word to us. They just left and we never saw them again. We assumed they were done. Communication was very poor. Last, we emailed them to ask about where in the ceiling the water pipes were located because they still freeze every time it gets below 20 degrees. In addition, one of the pipes burst after freezing and we had a flood in our laundry room with the water also pouring into our breaker box. They said they would get back to us and never did after repeatedly emailing them. I asked for their contractor license number and they never sent that, so beware they may not really be licensed at all. I would never recommend them at this point. It may cost a bit more, but use someone who will back their work and do it competently and who will communicate with you."
