HAI Remodeling LLC

We had hired HAI previously (see previous review) and thought we could trust them to do a good job. We hired them to remodel our living room which entailed pulling out carpeting, installing vinyl flooring, smoothing the walls and painting, replacing the woodwork and removing a popcorn ceiling. We mentioned to them that we had freezing pipe issues in our family room that they previously remodeled because they installed water pipes in the ceiling that go to our washer. We asked that they discuss the issue with us but they refused. The living room was done poorly (walls very uneven and spotty, old woodwork in foyer left and painted over, gouges and all, etc.). We didn't know they were not returning when they left the last day, as they never said a word to us. They just left and we never saw them again. We assumed they were done. Communication was very poor. Last, we emailed them to ask about where in the ceiling the water pipes were located because they still freeze every time it gets below 20 degrees. In addition, one of the pipes burst after freezing and we had a flood in our laundry room with the water also pouring into our breaker box. They said they would get back to us and never did after repeatedly emailing them. I asked for their contractor license number and they never sent that, so beware they may not really be licensed at all. I would never recommend them at this point. It may cost a bit more, but use someone who will back their work and do it competently and who will communicate with you.

Devin, Frank, Steve and Cole did such an amazing job on our kitchen demo and remodel. Their attention to detail, excellent customer service, and commitment to making our kitchen better than we imagined made the process stress-free. They prioritized finishing the remodel in the timeframe we expected while ensuring everything looked perfect. They built custom floating shelves for our kitchen which sets it apart from all the others.

HAI remodeling did a great job on designing our new kitchen. Added a beautiful wood vaulted ceiling to our breakfast nook. They did a beautiful job making a custom cabinet in the bathroom. I love my deep soaking tub. The tile work in both the kitchen and bathroom are outstanding. They recently installed glass block windows in our basement, which we are very pleased with. These guys work well together and I would highly recommend them!

Excellent! These guys are the best. Everything is done so conscientiously. They really go above and beyond to make sure everything is done right.

We hired HAI to completely gut and remodel our family room and laundry room. Unbeknownst to us, our "family room" had previously been a converted 3 seasons room and it had never been properly framed. It needed quite a bit of extra work to address water damage to the existing wood. Frank and Devin immediately got to work removing old rotted wood and rebuilding the framing of the room. They never tried to gloss over an issue and addressed everything head on. They also addressed an issue with the french doors that were ordered, which came with an incorrect configuration (not their fault). They dealt with the door company to get the correct doors and came back out once they were delivered to install them. Several hurdles had to be overcome to get the doors working properly but they stuck with it for 2 days and wouldn't leave until they were perfect. The entire crew was friendly and respectful. The results are absolutely amazing. Everything we asked for we received and the few issues that we had were immediately addressed. The mini split they installed had a leak inside and they came out the very next morning to fix it. Without a doubt they went above and beyond and we wouldn't hesitate to hire them again (which we plan to do for our living room remodel)! Steve is amazing to work with and his entire team is to be commended, including Christian and Cole. Thank you so much!

HAI Remodeling did an amazing job remodeling our basement. We were pleasantly surprised in how quickly they finished it. They were great to work with. This is the second time we used them and will definitely continue to use them for future projects.

This was THE most outstanding experience with contractors we have ever had. And we have used some great contractors before. This team was highly competent, meticulous in every single detail, detail oriented, on time every single day, friendly and respectful. There is not one single thing that they could have done better in the entire 3 week process of total gutting of our master bathroom in our Shaker Heights home (floors, all walls, ceiling, new plumbing, new electric). I honestly did not think it was possible to have such a positive experience for a total bathroom remodel. Their estimate was comprehensive and extremely helpful to go out and purchase what we needed. We had gotten 5 estimates and nobody else provided us with a detailed instruction and budgets for all parts (vanity, tiles, lighting, fan etc). The final settling of the bill was a pleasant experience. Every promise was kept. I also loved that every single day the house was left spotless. All paths to the door were vacuumed and wiped clean. Every day. If you want the highest quality and honest and fun people to have in your home, this is your contractor! I don’t think I’ve ever given such a raving review. But they absolutely deserve it.

Overall our remodel with HAI went amazing! The HAI team remodeled almost our entire house (completely remodeled bathrooms, kitchen, floors, removed a wall, installed trim, painted, and so much more). The team at HAI can really do anything you can think of when it comes to house remodels. They were also super helpful with aesthetic and design when we wanted input. They are very trustworthy and went above and beyond with their quality of work. We can’t speak enough good things about the team at HAI and would definitely hire them again if we ever need anything else done!
