We did a huge kitchen renovation which could have been very stressful but Jeff and Lisa made it a very smooth and enjoyable experience. The project was started on the agreed date and was finished almost on schedule. We had a little delay on some materials due to Covid but the crew was there every day doing work. They even took extra good care of our fur babies to make sure they were safe and comfortable while they were working. We ended up with a kitchen that exceeded our expectations. The following layout meeting was at my home with the designer, plumbing foreman and Rob. Their knowledge and expertise reinforced my confidence that I had selected the best contractor. Through the planning phase and material selections Rob provided helpful guidance but never pressured. During the project the crew on site was skilled, courteous and dedicated to doing quality work. Communication with the project coordinator, office manager and Rob by text and email was excellent. The transformation of the finished bathroom is remarkable. It is completely revitalized. I highly recommend Big Bear. If I could, I would buy another house just to have Big Bear remodel it

"Barney and his crew were exceptional. He was one of the first to respond and provide a quote, which was very reasonable, and quoted 2 weeks to complete vs 4-5 weeks from others. His workmanship, ideas and attention to detail were great. The couple of subs he used (electrical and plumbing) were good, showed up as scheduled, etc. I’ve already recommended him to a friend. We normally will quote your project for free, but do require 30% down upon contract signature, and another 30% when we start the project. "This is a review for Marquard Home Improvement & Remodeling for work done back in 2018. We hired them to do house renovations (removing wall paper, removing carpet, fixing hard wood floor, painting, completely renovating bathroom, replacing front door). Shawn and his team were fantastic! The renovations were for my parents' house. Shawn communicated very well (especially since my parents don't speak good English, so Shawn and his team communicated with my siblings and me). He and his team were very patient, and they worked with us regarding details for the renovation throughout the project. The quality of the work was fantastic. I still hear my parents compliment it to this day (two years after the work was done). I highly recommend Marquard Home Improvement & Remodeling for house renovation work.
