The salesperson was polite, the first service was completed, my credit card information was taken, I signed for the credit card auth. There was no contract and no obligation to continue with service, but they like customers to try them for a year. The salesperson indicated that my card would be billed quarterly and if we needed service in between, to just call. I received a bill in the mail a few months later, to which I responded with payment and an indication that my card is on file and should be billed. No response from the company. I received another bill months later indicating that they were charging me a $100 promotional fee and cancelling my service. I contacted the company via email - Tara - I believe. She was very rude and what I thought had been the credit card authorization had in fact been an agreement for one year of service. About a month later a gentleman showed up, indicating he was in the neighborhood for only this one day for $109 a quarter and you can't get that discount any other time. I explained to him that I was not interested because of my previous experience. He tried calling his manager, but couldn't reach him. Said he'd come back the next day after he had a chance to talk to his manager. The next day he showed up. He apologized for the experience I had previously, said the company was under new management, had gotten better at their book-keeping. Because of our terrible experience he was authorized to provide the first service at $1.00 and the quarterly service at $89. We had carpenter ants, so we thought that wasn't a terrible deal. He had me sign for my credit card auth, indicated that yes, he would be sure it would be auto billed, and that unfortunately, the company did want us to sign a yearly agreement. They were also closing the previous account and would not be charging us the $100 promotional fee. Great! We signed up again. In the last week, I received two bills from Insight. One for the $1 plus first quarterly charge. The second was for a $100 promotional fee from earlier this year. I called the company and spoke to someone who said there was nothing on file regarding my credit card. I explained the complete history of my experiences with Insight. Then she went offline and came back to say she had found my credit card information in the new customer account, but that the $100 had not been billed to the card. I explained that I was aware of that because it was supposed to be waived. She said she couldn't do anything further without management approval and would call me back. I have yet to hear from the company. I also completed a customer survey and have not heard further. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I'd rather pay more for a company that will respond to my concerns and will keep track of my private information. Eric Rugh (Sales Manager) and Jeremy Garber (Project Manager) were in our neighborhood providing a free roof inspection for one of our neighbors. I approached them and introduced myself. Both gentlemen were very polite and professional. They carefully explained they had recently completed two roof replacements in our neighborhood and were inspecting our neighbor's roof at our neighbor's request. They kindly agreed to inspect my roof when they were done at my neighbor's home. From my window, I watched them on my neighbor's roof. They seemed to be very thorough. The carefully tested the shingles to see if they were loose and sustained wind or hail damage. After they were through, they went up on our roof to inspect. After their inspection, they met with me and carefully reviewed a hand drawn diagram of my roof. They inspected gutters (no damage) and the shingles. There had been some terrible storms rip through our area over the past summer, and they reported damage in many areas of my roof. The damaged areas were indicated on the drawing. They carefully explained the process and urged me to absolutely have someone, even if it's not them, be with us should we report this damage to our insurer. He said it was important to have someone like him to help look out for us. I trust my insurer, but I agree with his sentiments. While I'm not certain to go with them on the repair/replacement, their level of detail and professionalism during the inspection landed them on my short list of possible contractors. The last thing I would mention, is that I did ask them about Angies List. He told me that "they are on Angies List", but it's hard to get listed on the website. I grew suspicious (I'm quite a pessimist, unfortunately). So, I called Angies List, and asked how someone could "be on Angies List", yet not show up online. Turns out Eric was telling the truth. Rugh's submitted their name for Angies List in May, and members (like myself), can submit reviews online by manually entering their contact information. However, Angies List refuses to list them until there are 3 reviews. So, this is their 1st official review. So, they passed another test - not making up some story about why they can't be found on Angies List. If I use their services for repairing/replacing my roof, I will definitely return to post a very detailed, full review. Bottom line with Rugh's Remodeling and Restoration, LLC... so far so good.

From the initial sales consultation to final phase of the project we were impressed with the quality, craftsmanship and professionalism of the Patio Room Factory team. This business is family owned and operated and it shows. The key differentiator for us was that the rooms they build are custom made and fabricated to the owner's specifications by US manufacturers AFTER the site survey is conducted and the design created. Our room requirements were unique in that we wanted extra space for a home office and a sitting area to enjoy our backyard view. What Jim and his crew delivered looks like it was made just for our home because it was. Midway through construction in early May they had just put it under roof and assembled the walls when we had a torrential rain storm. The walls and roof had not even been sealed yet however there was NO water to be seen anywhere. Not a single leak even though we got three inches of rain and had yet to be sealed. The seams were that right which is simply amazing. if you want it done right for a fair price go with these folks. We discussed new windows/walls for my porch which only has storm windows. I discussed with the salesperson an option (option 1) about my idea for the porch. After the salesperson left I wrote a note that afternoon discussing a second option (option 2) that I would like to see designed/estimated. No email was returned.
I did not hear anything back from my 5/2 email so I left a message mid-May to see when I might have an estimate. On 5/24 after never getting a phone call or email, I wrote an email asking about my estimates. This note was a forwarding of my note written on 5/2 with the conversation about the second option. Finally on 5/29 the salesperson wrote apologizing for the delay and told me the drawings would be sent by 6/1. I received the drawings on 5/31 from the architect.
I traveled on vacation starting 6/1 for the next week and I was playing catch up with work when getting back. I finally had the opportunity to look at the drawings on 6/19. I noticed there was only one set of drawings for option 1 and no estimates were included. After telling the architect and the salesperson my correct name, I discussed wanting to see option 2. The salesperson apologized stating he missed my second option note from 5/2 (which he did get because he replied on 5/29 with my email attached about the second option).
On 6/20 I got a single drawing (versus 6 drawings on option 1) on the second option. I emailed back stating I thought the door placement was wrong (needed to use an existing landing) and I wanted a better look on the accent wall. I also had a concern about the look below the header. On 6/21 I was informed by the architect to talk with the salesperson about option 2. Basically I felt Rosati was busy with other work and was just delaying me.
On 6/19 I was promised a meeting and estimates by 6/28. I finally received an estimate on option 1 yesterday (7/3). No meeting was ever schedule by Rosati. In the note from the salesperson yesterday, he apologized once more for the delays and said we can discuss other options (probably referring to option 2) sometime. No mention of a meeting or a phone call.
Summary: During this entire time I never received one phone call or request for a meeting from the salesperson to give me status or to review option 2. While no promises were made for a date of completion we did discuss my son's graduation party in July. I understand contractors and delays but we never got to first base with the designs and estimates. While I delayed the process, Rosati needs to be straightforward with expectations when dealing with potential customers. Two months for designs/estimates on a very simple porch (no heating, flooring, or electrical work needed) redo is not acceptable. It makes me question if Rosati is really in the Home Improvement business.

I was having the roof replaced, it was poor work from the beginning. the crew that was working were rude, and not friendly at all. They were clearly upset with the work they were having to perform. They took the shingles off that already had metal on them. there was suppose to be a space between the plywood and the steel roofing with 2x 4s, there were none. Another issues that is upsetting, all of our tires have had one or two flat tires from nails and sharp objects in the yard from the shingles being ripped off without disregard for where they landed. They were sloppy and did a poor job of cleaning up the nails. the tarps if they were even put down were poorly grounded allowing nails to go everywhere. I have had to patch or replace tires on my truck, tractor, and also my wife and daughter's car. Any of the plywood that needed to be replaced was poorly done or not replaced at all. Also he had installed a fan for the roof, he commended it. Even though I had already purchased 6 roof vents. I figured he was the expert and let him do the install. I found out the fan had been running all winter long and sucking out heat out of the top of the house, adding to my utility costs for the winter. I requested having a switch installed to control the fan, he said no and that it would not be necessary. He never cut roof vents in the soffits. I have no contact with him. He said he was going to come out and use a magnet to get up any nails or metal pieces or flashing to clean up, that has never happened."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/oh/mount-vernon/revere-roofing-company-inc-reviews-373145.htm"},"position":7},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"MYERS SURVEYING CO INC","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"OH","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"NORMA M."},"reviewBody":"I CALLED THIS COMPANY FOR THE FIRST TIME ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO FOR AN ESTIMATE. Overall, the project went extraordinarily well! Brian came out on two separate occasions; the first time to give me an estimate on the framing and the second time to go over a few extra things that I wanted to be completed (bathroom work and an additional landing at the foot of the stairs)....

FAQs for land surveying projects in Saint Louisville, OH
Land surveying can help give clear guidance on your property boundaries for numerous situations. And in some cases, having your land surveyed is a requirement. Some common reasons to have your land surveyed include:
Planning for construction projects, like building a fence
Locating utilities, such as plumbing fixtures
Settling property line disputes
Creating subdivisions
Meeting mortgage requirements
Selling your property
Land surveying costs about $530 for the average homeowner. However, your total cost could range anywhere from $200 to $1,000 or more. Factors like the size of your property play a significant role in what you pay, but other things like the survey type and the time of year can also impact the final cost.
For example, if you’re looking for a simple boundary survey, you can expect to pay between $100 and $600. However, if you want a more in-depth survey that depicts the elevations of your hills and trees, you can expect to pay between $500 and $1,200 for a topographic survey.
A few different types of land surveys can help determine certain features and boundaries of your property. These include:
Boundary surveys describe the actual borders of a property. These are generally required when trying to get construction permits issued.
Location surveys provide much of the same information as a boundary survey but also include in-depth information about any improvements made to your property.
Mortgage location surveys are usually required by lenders and title companies before financing or offering an insurance policy.
Site-planning surveys are done before applying for building permits and can be issued before any major home improvements.
Topographic surveys provide a formal map of land elevations. It can also describe the location and size of natural features and any land improvements.
Land survey reports provide a lot of helpful information about your property and land. The exact information provided depends on the type of survey you have done, but common information that they can provide includes:
Location of utility fixtures
Clear boundaries and dimensions of your property
General topography
Land elevation information
Confirmation of easements or encroachments
Land surveys don’t technically expire. They do serve as a point of reference and a snapshot of your property, though, so as soon as you make changes to your property (and even if your neighbor makes certain changes to theirs), your existing land survey becomes inaccurate, and a new one must be done. Even if you don’t make any changes to your property, many states only guarantee the accuracy of a land survey for five to ten years.
