XYZ SURVEY SERVICE

The scheduler Melva was extremely professional and prompt. Couldn't have been better. The survey crew were also nice, prompt and thorough. They only reason I gave them a B was I assumed the "pins" would be short metal pipe located an inch above ground. XYZ used 3 foot wooden stakes.

They had to send folks out a second time which took a while (it was around the holidays) but everything was completed as promised.

I only gave a "B" in punctuality because of having to contact them 2 more times before work was scheduled and carried out. But then I was scheduled quickly and they arrived on time and were pleasant to work with.

Excellent. We called and they were here the same day. All but one pin was located that day, they came back about 3 days later with the ability to establish final pin using road marker and other pin locations.

Talked to Melva who described what they do and the cost. She is great to talk with, explained everything clearly and scheduled me in very quickly. Emailed me the contract to fill in and email back. The two surveyors arrived earlier than scheduled and finished in good time. They were very careful, professional, considerate, and pleasant. The work was done exactly as desired. They're a great company and I would recommend them to anyone.

Friendly service. The only complaint I had is that they were late for the appointment and they didn't call me but they did apologize once they arrived.

They were on time, very professional, there was a question about the back yard and they investigated it and went to other neighbors and started measuring. They called ahead and let me know when they were going to be here.They explained what they were doing, I am quite pleased. They did an excellent job.

Mr. Williams-Argaw responded to my telephone call the same day that I left a message and gave me an estimate of $400.00 over the phone for a boundary survey in which the corner pins of my lot would be found. I asked that he send me a contract for the job to my e-mail address and I received that the same day. After reading the well-prepared contract, I signed it and mailed it to him the same day. Three days later, Mr. Williams-Argaw came out to do preliminary work to locate pins in nearby properties for citing purposes. On the following day, he and a work partner came out and conducted the actual survey and located the corner pins of my property. One of the corner pins that had been placed about 200 years ago, was covered by the root of a very large maple tree. A new pin was driven into the root of the tree at no extra charge. This survey job was completed in a timely and professional manner. The surveyors took the time to show me where all of the corner pins/markers are located.

Property line is not easy to locate or survey (includes several curves and numerous lines) thereby causing the high price. XYZ was a bit difficult to communicate with. They didn't return phone calls as they promised, I had to call them repeatedly. There seems to be some turnover in management or ownership going on at the company to which they attributed the lack of communication. Despite the work done was professional and helpful. I would try them on another occasion if time was not critical otherwise I would look for another firm.

They were just really wonderful, good guys who ended up saving us a lot of money. I have already recommended them to others.

Friendly and fast. David had his team out at my property within the same week to mark my property boundaries. The work was done accurately and billing was prompt.

The owner was very helpful and friendly and scheduled the work within a few days of the request. The work was performed efficiently and professionally by the owner and one other gentleman. The survey appears to be accurate, as it found the boundaries to be close to where I had been told they were located.

Responded promptly to my call. Office employee was exceptionally pleasant. Came out the next day to survey. Since I wasn't home at the time, I called the next day and all my questions were answered by the person who completed the survey. The only item I would have expected to receive was a detailed written summary of what was done along with a property drawing to accompany the bill. I was told, however, the drawing is available from the Franklin County Auditor's web site.

They are very nice, cooperative people to work with.

Another company told me it would take four weeks and $700 to mark the boundaries. I had forgotten to check Angie's list, which I did later and found XYZ. Called on Tuesday, and he completed the work on Thursday for less than half the price.

THEY WERE COMMUNICATIVE ABOUT THE WORK PERFORMED. THE JOB TURNED OUT TO TAKE MORE TIME THAN THEY EXPECTED, BECAUSE OF HOW LONG AGO THE LAST SURVEY WAS PERFORMED. DID NOT TRY TO INCREASE THE INITIAL BID WHICH WAS INLINE WITH OTHER BIDS I RECEIVED. THEY ALSO MADE A FOLLOW UP CALL TO MAKE SURE I WAS HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE.

THEY DID WORK PROMPTLY.

WONDERFUL!!! WE CALLED THURSDAY NIGHT, AND THEY CAME OUT FRIDAY AFTERNOON. DAVID SLAGLE, AND HIS PARTNER ARE WONDERFUL PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN IN THIS BUSINESS FOR YEARS! THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT ANGIE'S LIST, AND WERE EMBARRASSED WHEN I TOLD THEM THEY WERE RANKED HIGHLY.

XYZ RESPONDED QUICKLY TO MY REQUEST FOR SERVICE; THE WORKERS WERE POLITE AND EFFICIENT, AND THE PRICE WAS FAIR.

SERVICE WAS SPEEDY, ACCURATE, AND REASONABLY PRICED.

THEY WERE NOT ON TIME. BUT THEY WERE PERSONABLE.

SURVEYORS JOHN AND JAY BEGAN THE JOB PROMPTLY, AND COMPLETED WORK WITHIN SEVERAL DAYS, ALLOWING US TO LEAVE ON VACATION ON TIME. THEY WERE SKILLED AT FINDING OLD MARKERS AND FENCE LINES DESPITE HEAVY FOREST GROWTH OVER MOST OF THE PROPERTY.
