He went above & beyond by picking up the new door for me at no additional cost, and took the initiative of taking care of a couple other minor issues he spotted while he was doing the contracted work. He was prompt, efficient and even started earlier than planned. He was very responsive to coming back to take care of a slight problem after the work was completed. I would recommend him to anyone and will hire him again for other projects."

"I had two previous repair men and they didn’t go through the entire system like Stan did. He found that there was 3 sensors could have been an issue and he found the one was frozen. After deicing it he found that it was bad. He replaced it and spent as much time as was needed to repair the problem. The other two tried one thing and they both failed although the one did clean the coils as a measure. Stan was very professional and even called to discuss the issue with another technician. I would definitely recommend him to others"

The chimney looks very good from the street, lines look good and the missing pieces have been replaced. "Excellent! I called Thompson's Masonry for an estimate on chimney work. Bob came out within 45 minutes of the phone call and determined that we needed some repairs on our chimney, not a complete rebuild as had been told to us by other companies that had come out (rebuild prices ranging from $1500 to over $4000!). He also pointed out some tuckpointing that needed done on other brick on our house. He said he could do the work the next day. The price and timing were perfect, so we hired him. He showed up the next morning when he said he would (he was even a little early...bonus points!) and worked all day. He communicated with me throughout the day re: the progress. He was always courteous, respectful, and just a nice guy! The whole process was a positive one. The finished chimney and tuckpointing look great! I am so thankful I found Thompson's Masonry on Angie's List and we have already recommended him to friends who need masonry work. "Lowe's came out and did a great job of cleaning our duct work.  However, the workman broke  couple of wires in our furnace while he was working and so our furnace wouldn't turn on again.  We had to call the heating company that we use to come out and repair the furnace. 
Lowe's was extremely polite about the problem, was very kind in dealing with us and paid for the entire repair bill.
They dealt with us in a very professional way."
