"We had the pleasure of working with River Mill Construction for our Screened Porch project. We had originally worked with Matt back in 2019, and finally in the Spring of 2025 were able to begin the project. Every step of the way was very well executed. The initial plans were clear, concise and accurate. During the construction phase we got to know our builders Mike and Tom, who are absolute rock stars and know exactly what they are doing. We built a very large screened porch with some tricky roof integrations which required the utmost skill and confidence. Everything was done exceeding our expectations and we loved working with the team at River Mill. The build team was incredibly conscientious while working around our home, they would spend extra time sealing off the work areas to limit dust and debris, cleaned up their workspace daily, and were "Meticulous" about their craft. I felt as though they put the same care and effort as if they were working on their own home. They were very flexible and willing to make and discuss any design changes needed. "The profile for Holy Roller is lengthy and is misleading. As a consumer, you would want to trust that what is listed on the company's profile is work that can be accomplished in a satisfactory manner for all parties. I hired Holy Roller to paint a pergola and refurbish an existing patio. Holy Roller spent months on my project, leaving me without the use of my patio. I fully paid Holy Roller, but the project was never completed. Appointments were cancelled, incorrect paint was used, the company couldn't strip the paint they applied that had chipped and peeled. Construction debris was left on my property. I enlisted the Better Business Bureau's help and took Holy Roller to Arbitration. An Arbitration hearing was conducted at the office of the BBB and I received an Arbitration Award against Jim C./Holy Roller. The money was to be paid by November 1, 2018. Jim Cole has not abided by the Arbitrator's Ruling. I spent thousands of dollars with a reputable company to fix the workmanship of Holy Roller Painting. The new company removed all work done by Holy Roller and gave me a new patio within 36 hours. Please do your research before hiring this company."

"Signed a contract back on April 2, 2025. They were supposed to be out on Wednesday, May 21. They called me two hours before they were supposed to be here to cancel because of the chance of rain. We had zero rain here from 7:45 AM all the way to 3:30 PM. I wasted a vacation day as well. Contacted my salesman. He tells me he will get back to me. Here we are two days later and still no idea when the appointment is supposed to happen. Communication is poor at best. Amazing that a company that's been in business this long plays games like this."
