AMAZING!!!! From the introduction and consultation, to the excavation, delivery of product, installation, and final presentation...the Lodder's are a force. There was so much consideration given to my project and home, down to what I should plant due to my fur-baby! I highly recommend their services.

Very nice work. Two of the hydrangea bushes had dark spots on leaves requiring us t remove affected leaves (fungus).

Was supposed to come back and do other work and weed. And didn't show. Also he was a little light on mulch which is why weeds came right back.

Mr. Lodder was very difficult to reach initially.  Phone calls were not returned or I was directed to leave messages or contact his wife by e-mail. Overall estimate for all of the work did not seem to match the work that we discussed.  I went ahead with the tear out portion of the job. Had to ask him to come back because a large root was left sticking up where the porch needed to be laid and not all of the brush we discussed had been removed. The bill presented for the tear out, which we had discussed in detail, was close to 50% higher than the estimate - no explanation provided.  At this point, I chose to look elsewhere for the rest of the work

Oops!  See above. If you are looking for first rate superior quality work, hire John. He may not be the lowest price but I promise he is the best value. Our original patio has been in for 15 years, and it still looks new. His work is done right the first time. I have recommended him many times over the years.

They have great service and do a good job. The prices are reasonable and the people are good.

John came in and fixed all my landscaping which had been done previously by another landscaper.  Replaced dead plants, removed a medium size tree, relocated three small trees and complete mulch around the entire house. He was fast, attention to detail, and never cut corners.  I will continue to use Lodder Landscaping in the years to come.

My parents purchased a home in the area and wanted to update the landscaping and hardscape. I contacted Lodder Landscaping in the early spring after reading other reviews on Angie's List. 
John Lodder was prompt in returning my call and met with me at my parent's house to discuss the scope of the project and some options. His wife, Anne, followed up shortly thereafter with a written proposal and estimate for the project. Once my parents accepted the proposal, John came out again and walked thru the property with me and explained his design plan. For the most part, my parents deferred to John's recommendations as far as plantings, layout and the design of the patio were concerned.
The scope of the project was very large, and John worked (tirelessly) for approximately two months to complete all aspects of the project which included removing and replacing existing, overgrown shrubs and plants, edging around all beds, removing old hardscape patio and replacing with new pavers. He even repaired a sod installation job that another landscaping firm had done poorly.
The finished product exceeded everyone's expectations.
John and Anne are very nice people and easy to work with. They were kind to my parents and honest in their dealings. We would not hesitate to recommend their company to others interested in quality landscaping work. In fact, we already have.

Everything went fine. John is prompt and works quickly. His work always is professional. The beds look wonderful. This is the second job Lodder Landscaping has done for us, and we will always use them when we need professional landscaping.

Wonderful as usual.  Have used this company for years and they are reliable/great service.

I have worked with John and Ann for many years now.  A neighbor introduced me to them and I always use their service.  John has done some design work and installation for me also.  They are very professional as well as personable.  I just love them.  If you want someone who is punctual, dependable and provides great service, then Lodder Landscaping is the company for you.  They are great.

We had the work done in order to help sell our house. It sold in one day and the buyers loved how clean and neat the flower beds looked! I had to give a "B" for responsiveness because they weren't prompt in returning emails. However, I know they had a daughter getting married the week they were working on our house:-)

We have been using Lodder Landscaping for over 8 years both at our residence and our office from a total 're-do' of our housefront landscaping, installation of patio paving bricks, and annual bed edging and mulch.    When I have a question, Lodder Landscaping has an answer!   Recently I asked a question about "Flox" (spelling?) and how they felt about it.  John explained that there are 'good' years and 'bad' years with 'flox' (2013 was a good year).  When it is done flowering, however, it can look like overgrown grass and one really needs to "weed" it every year.  Also he explained that it wouldn't survive under my Maple tree (Maple trees 'devour' everything).  Instead we will be adding a "Fall-flowering" plant by my mailbox so I have some COLOR in the Fall (as well as that which I have now with perennials planted back in 2008).  Also when I see something on QVC or HSN I wonder about---all I have to do is call Lodder Landscaping they tell me the "real story" about the product (growth, maintenance, etc.)  Trust Lodder Landscaping---they are AWESOME!!!
