"Tim's Home Improvement was hired to replace our existing deck and add on another approximately 100 sq ft of space and to replace the existing sliding glass door.  He was hired in late May and the work was completed towards the end of June.  The delays in completeing the project were mainly to due city inspections and weather not Tim.







During construction we did not have any issues with Tim or his crew, they were prompt, curteous and professional at all times.  The deck is wonderful, we have used it on a regular basis and the gate was an excellent addition.  The quality of the deck construction has exceeded our expectations and we couldn't be happier with it.







The sliding glass door is okay.  It appeared they had trouble with the locking mechanism installation and that has carried over to difficulities in using the lock now.  The difficulties do not make it unuseable, just difficult to catch and lock or unlock. 







My only negative comments relate to the finish of underneath the deck and the "fixing" of my gate lock (which was an extra thrown in my Tim, I was not charged).  I have noticed that one of the posts holes was not filled in with dirt properly and I have a sizeable hole now that I will need to fill with dirt.  Also there was some wood left over that the crew did not put in the dumpster. 







The gate lock is really my biggest issue.  When Tim said he would fix that without charge he said "I have a lock that will prevent that from happening" so I believed he was going to replace the original gate latch that was sticking.  In realitly they shaved down the metal on the latch and some of the wood on the gate and the gate is back to sticking again almost as bad as before it was "fixed".







Overall, I was happy with Tim's Home Improvement and any issues I experienced will not deter me from hiring them again,"
