"We are very satisfied with the work that Mid-Valley Chimney Repair & Sweeps performed on our chimney during the week of July 23-27, 2018. Matt (T) and Billy set up, cleaned chimney and removed old mortar. Matt did an outstanding job with the re tuck point and cement crown . We commend him on his attention to detail. Howard and Seth cleaned chimney and applied sealer. They also removed scaffolding and cleaned surrounding areas. Seth took the time to remove debris from plants in front of chimney. All members of the team were professional and answered all of our questions. They were very personable and it was a pleasure to do business with everyone beginning with Matthew Simpson who did the initial inspection and gave us the estimate. We highly recommend this company and plan to call on them again."

"They did a great job. The technician was on time, polite, very quick, and knowledgeable. The technician answered all of my questions, and gave me helpful tips about how to use and care for my chimney/fireplace. I have also purchased chimney caps from them, which they are scheduled to install soon. I would definitely recommend them."

Shaun and his team arrived on Thursday, 1/9/14, as scheduled to discover the leak location.  They started with the idea of minimizing the cost and minimizing any interior demolition.  They conducted the water saturation test and found the point of water entry in less than 10 minutes.  Shaun examined the interior ceiling, drilled 2 small inconspicuous holes to determine the area of water penetration and stated that they would not have to any interior work.  Shaun offered the minimum amount of repair to fix the water leak around the chimney and an alternative repair to correctly wrap and tape the entire unfinished chimney stack.  We chose the complete repair and they finished the work in about 3 hours.  No leaks since the repair.  Shaun was professional, personable and knowledgeable.   We would certainly use Integrity again for any roof repair.

"They inspected the roof and found several cracked shingles.  They also fixed an area around a plumbing vent which was leaking during heavy rains.  They were prompt, courteous, and very professional."

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

"Phenomenal!! Greg is awesome! He is reliable, prompt, affordable, and does excellent work. My wife and I just purchased our first home and we had a chimney leak, bricks needing repairing, etc... Greg was cognizant of how cost sensitive we were and Instead of coming up with a laundry list of things to get fixed , he was more of an advisor and worked with me to come up with the best solution for us and our situation. Greg is extremely experienced and knowledgeable, he explained the ins and outs of the issues I was having, why I was having them, and what I could do to mitigate them moving forward. OVERALL AN A+++ EXPERIENCE !!"

Chimney Caps questions, answered by experts

You should contact a local range hood installation professional to install your range hood and do the ductwork. Prices range from $50 to $100 per hour, with the total number of hours required varying based on the project complexity. Simple installations might take an hour or two, while more complicated ones can take four hours or more.

Most residential range hoods have a CFM between 200 and 600. A higher CFM means your range hood is better at removing smoke and odors from your kitchen. The measurement ultimately depends on your stove’s width and heat output as well as the size of your kitchen.

Compared to the average size of a stove and kitchen, 350 CFM would be the minimum recommended rating for the average kitchen. However, selecting a higher CFM range hood would guarantee better ventilation to match your cooking habits, whether they’re minimal or extensive.

Yes, professionals can often retrofit models with minimal disruption.

A range hood is an exhaust fan for your kitchen, and several types and styles exist. They are meant to remove grease, moisture, and fumes from your stove. Although some models filter and recirculate the air, the most effective ones remove the air through a duct that’s vented to the outdoors.

Yes, they can assess the size, kitchen layout, and ventilation requirements to make recommendations.
