"This review will never do justice to the Dave Richards Home Improvement Co. I am very limited on how many words I can share on this site in a review. Will share my complete review on Google and Co site. We were quite hesitant to even start such a large construction project in our home. We had never had this level of work done within our home. Ashley (Project Manager) and Dave were the 2nd company to submit a bid on our basement remodel (thanks to Angi’s List). They came in with very impressive ideas and were extremely transparent with cost figures from the get-go. Meeting Ashely and Dave felt like meeting long lost members of our family. We had a rare comfort level with them right away. We cannot express fully in this limited review how professional Mikey, Tom, Falvio and Pedro were - the do exceptional work. The entire team was top notch, polite, and determined to give 120% to our project. We would never consider seeking construction expertise anywhere else. "

"Absolute WORST experience I’ve ever had with a company! They are extremely predatory and convinced my 63 year old mother that she had to sign the contract THAT DAY, and she didn’t even understand what she was signing! The first day they were scheduled to do the job, they showed up hours late, and said they “weren’t the right crew to do the job”. We then had to wait a couple weeks for a different crew to come, and when they came they said they weren’t the right crew to do the job either!! 2 weeks later, ANOTHER crew came and said THE SAME EXACT THING!!! So after 3 times of getting the runaround, I was completely FED UP with this horrible company and decided to cancel the contract. They FINALLY did let me cancel, but are demanding we still pay $600! After all they put us through over 3+ months, they had the nerve to charge us $600 for an outlet! PLEASE AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS! All they care about is dollar signs, not about the QUALITY of their work or customer service."

"Basement Finishing complete!! I know finding someone can be stressful so I wanted to give a shout out to Greg Henslee. His price was fair, communication was great and he finished on time (2 months). He was here every day minus weekends and an occasional day here and there. We even went on vacation, he still came everyday with no issues. I know Greg is booked probably through Spring 2026 but if you are looking for recommendations and not in a rush he is definitely worth contacting for a quote."

"Mid-State Basement Systems came highly recommended by a good friend from Buffalo, NY and they did not disappoint. From start to finish they were very professional yet personable. Larry & Phil in the initial stages of the basement inspection and a reasonable quote. Silvino and his team who done the actual work was incredible, done with absolute excellence. They were here when they said they would be and finished the job a day ahead of schedule. I am thoroughly pleased with this company, first class. I highly recommend them if you need work done on your basement.******"

"Tim did a superb job of tearing out the old, putting in the new and repairing the active wet spots in the kitchen ceiling. I feel that his estimates were fair and reasonable and the craftsmanship was a world of difference from the previous subpar job I had done. He is very timely, works consistently and stays on schedule. I can't say enough how happy I am with his end result on this project! I'll be having him back to do another bathroom soon!"

"The profile for Holy Roller is lengthy and is misleading. As a consumer, you would want to trust that what is listed on the company's profile is work that can be accomplished in a satisfactory manner for all parties. I hired Holy Roller to paint a pergola and refurbish an existing patio. Holy Roller spent months on my project, leaving me without the use of my patio. I fully paid Holy Roller, but the project was never completed. Appointments were cancelled, incorrect paint was used, the company couldn't strip the paint they applied that had chipped and peeled. Construction debris was left on my property. I enlisted the Better Business Bureau's help and took Holy Roller to Arbitration. An Arbitration hearing was conducted at the office of the BBB and I received an Arbitration Award against Jim C./Holy Roller. The money was to be paid by November 1, 2018. Jim Cole has not abided by the Arbitrator's Ruling. I spent thousands of dollars with a reputable company to fix the workmanship of Holy Roller Painting. The new company removed all work done by Holy Roller and gave me a new patio within 36 hours. Please do your research before hiring this company."

"Nathan was able to turn our tiny, odd shaped Jack and Jill bathroom into two beautiful bathrooms even though other contractors had told us that it couldnâ t be done without a major cost. He came in well within our budget and provided quality work. He worked with us on the design, and now both bathrooms are beautiful and feel larger than expected while working within the original footprint. Heâ s a hard, honest contractor with an incredible talent. I have already referred him to a couple of friends who are also very happy with their new rooms."

"Dave Richards does a fantastic job. They are reasonably priced and so responsive to questions. We had a bedroom with egress window, bathroom with shower, kitchenette, family room, and office finished in our basement. It has turned out beautifully and I would not hesitate to use them again."

"MCRM was a pleasure to work with. I hired MCRM to assess, disassemble and reinstall roughly 200â of vinyl fence recently installed by another company. The previous install was not plumb, level or installed per the fence manufacturers guidelines, thereby jeopardizing any future warranty work. Mark explained what needed done and provided a tiered proposal based on additional items uncovered during the disassembly. Communication was clear, the job site was left in a secure and neat condition each day and I had a clear understanding of scheduling. It was a very pleasant experience and MCRM will be used for additional projects at my home."
