Reached out to the painter 2 days before to discuss colors, but was not ready to start on the proposed start date. Started 2 days late. Discussed 2 paint colors on the day and the painter said they could not complete the work as originally discussed due to detail on the trim. Did not set up to contain old pain chipped away from trim all around the house. Paint chips were left on the porch patio and in the yard. Discussed clean-up expectations with workmen present but unsure of understanding of the request. Painters were not very respectful of our yard and even poured pain in my flower beds where I grow vegetables etc. After the job conclusion paint chips were not completely cleaned up and are still out I'm my yard. I have tested chips and they contain lead. I have contacted the contractor and they are supposed to come to clean up on 12/6. If the yard is contaminated with pain after clean up I may seek additional compensation to cover any remediation needed."
