"I was super impressed by the individual that came out to my house.  They not only clean out the vent but also have a camera that can go into the entirety if the vent duct from the outside of your house to the dryer.  Once he cleaned it, he showed me with the camera the entirety of the vent so that I could ask questions and see that it was clear.  He even found a connection point between two pieces of duct that hadn't been sealed correctly. At no charge he went to his truck, got aluminum tape, and sealed the connection point to ensure no air and lint was escaping in the ceiling of my house!
