I am Ed, with Copperlite Plumbing, Co., is a highly reputable plumbing contractor who has proudly been serving the Valley City area since 1984. Let me know how I can help you today!
Got a quote based on information I gave, knowing that this was an estimate based on usual circumstances. Very punctual, two problems, first was a clogged drain than was cleared quickly, the second was a defective outside spigot that split because I forgot to remove house line for the winter. The basement was finished making it difficult to get to the line so replacement could be completed. Both jobs were completed, area was broom clean, the final bill was slightly higher then quote because of extra time need to get to line with out damaging. Ceiling etc. I would use again, loved his good nature and humor.

For the open drain pipe I had he just bought a piece of plastic and put it on top of it to close it. And for the plumbing stack on top of the roof that needed to be a little higher he just added some plastic piece to it. Costed me $175 for less than an hour. Than he said he checked my tub and kitchen sink while I don?t even have water turned on. Too expensive for the things he did

Hired to improve the water pressure in my kitchen. He recommended replacing the faucet with a Moen that has an extra button to increase pressure. He quoted $400 for the faucet but didnâ t provide an estimate for the labor. I had to step out and when I returned he found the problem was a bad valve that broke off inside and flowed into the old faucet. But he went ahead and replaced the faucet and he redesigned all of the plumbing under the sink. He charged $870. The workmanship was awesome but I didnâ t ask him to do all that extra work. Then he didnâ t plgive me the receipt or packaging for the new faucet so I could register it with Moen. I asked for the receipt and he told me my receipt is his own written receipt. He spent some time talking about hacks in the business. I think it takes one to know one because he wonâ t respond to my text messages where I asked again for the package or receipt and I told him I found the same Moen faucet for under $300 at Loweâ s. If you do business with Ed, be prepared to watch what he is doing and demand a full estimate with a full understanding of the work he will do. U could have saved a lot of money having my initial issue resolved.

Ed was very professional and very thorough. He looked around to understand all the plumbing in my basement and saw how my sump pump connects. He gave me information on other plumbing aspects of my house as well. He replaced the sump pump and then explained what he did, the warranty and the instructions that came with it. My sump pump works great now.

He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Looked for things that were not done properly and fixed them. However, he was very expensive. I did not expect my plumbing job to cost as much as it did. I asked for a quote two times and in the end, he charged me more. I should have gotten it in writing beforehand.

Rip off. Eds apprentice is an absolute moron. They turned a five hour job into a twelve hour job, with shoddy work to boot. Then he had the audacity to overcharge me $289! The whole day was problem after problem, mistake after mistake. Never again. Now I have got to hire another plumber to fix his mistakes!

Responded very quickly to request for a quote. We booked a date for the faucet installation. Ed called the day before confirming arrival time. Arrived right on time and he and his assistant worked diligently to remove the old faucet and install the new one. Very personable and meticulous about work being done. Very satisfied and would definitely recommend and call Ed again for future projects.

This is an outstanding product. A backup sump pump that runs off your water supply. No worries about how long the power is out. Edward is a true craftsman, the installation looks really good

We found Copperlite plumbing on home advisor. Ed who I guess owns Copperlite plumbing told me husband he would come out and look before giving a quote. We needed the main drain snaked in our house because it was backing up in our house. He came out and told me husband it would be $165 dollars. Ed went and rented a snake from home depot. He tried a couple of time and it did not work so he went back to home depot and got a wider one to try. He did it would 5 or 6 times with that one and it did not work. He was able to find a cut out in the basement to use that to try and snake it but that did not fix the problem. After spending 8 hours at my house and renting two different snakes the problem was not solved and it was still blocked and I was charged 680 dollars. Ed informed me and my husband there should be a cut out in our front yard to be able to snake, he said once we found that he could snake that but since we did not know where it was he could not help. He did say that he knows someone with an excavator that could come out and dig up my yard to fix it if the pipe was broke and it would cost 600 dollars pulls whatever it was to fix it. Before he left he measured from my house and the road and said the block is probably the on the county side. That is great and all but I need proof like the camera footage so the county could see. But he did not do a camera and we did not ask him to. As this was going on he told my husband for them to go further would cost more but never said how much. I posted on social media and he saw it and called me about it, he thinks he did nothing wrong but 680 dollars for a job you did not complete and you walked away and said there is nothing more you can do it is not right. I just want my money back. Please no one use him.

asked them to do one thing and clean out pipes. they did not do that. they took a few hours and fussed around to decide it was one drainage pipe. seemed one guy doing the work was learning and the other was telling him how to do it. over the next few month still a back up. we called to have them come back out because of the guarantee and they would not. Gave us a hard time. they said it would cost us even more for them to come out again to solve the problem we asked them to do in the first place. Had to hire someone else.....
