"Ultimately, in a very close call, I went with a different company since that other company had done work for me before and came in a hundred dollars less on a similar estimate. A son of the owner did my estimate and provided excellent, professional service and an on-time (though initially with a minor mistake) estimate. "We needed to replace our master bathroom shower pan due to a crack. Unfortunately there is not many quick fixes if you want to do it right. We reached out to the owner Chad who was very responsive to our request for an estimate and was very accommodating to come when both myself and my wife were available. Based on our discussion with Chad, we had a couple of different options (1) start over completely and tear out the existing tile walls and shower stall or (2) replace only the necessary parts and save what we could. We went with option 2 which meant only replacing the bottom level of tiles and removing and replacing the shower pan, glass walls and door. We didn't feel pressured to go with option 1 and really appreciated the options provided to know exactly what we were working with to fit our budget. This took a couple of visits over the span of a couple of weeks due to our busy schedules. Due to our schedules and time frames we had available a portion of a day was dedicated to demo, replacing the old shower pan and setting a new one; and replacing the old tile and installing the new glass walls and door. Chad was very flexible and we really appreciated his patience. It looks great and we couldn't be happier. We look forward to working with Crowned Eagle Contracting on future projects."
