Our fuse box not that old. Wards installed surge protector since fuses sometimes trip and plugged up some holes that was causing a whistle sound. There is still a slight whistle sound but not coming from panel probably from gaps in window and not a fire hazard. Fixed for around 500$. Always get a second opinion."
