"Started good, finished bad. They left the job site for 5 days without communicating. Left a pile of mulch in my driveway during this dead time, so I could only get one car out of my garage. They also left all of the patio furniture, grill, trash cans, etc. in the yard while working and gone. Killed the grass and got mud on everything since it rained. Killed some of our plants while working on the patio. Charged full price for lighting even though they didn't fix or lay new in the back (like they said they would). Unhooked old back yard lighting and never fixed (half was working before job). At the end, they didn't put anything back in it's place on patio... we had to move all patio stuff back."

"After searching around Angies List my wife and i met with Skip and liked his quote and vision for our fence the most. Skip was extremely good at following up with us while we waited for the materials to come in so we knew where we were in the process and when they would start. The job took about a week but would have been done earlier if it wasn't raining all week. Skips team worked late every day, worked in the rain, and kept me in the loop on what they were working on for the day as well as how they were going about it so we completely understood how our fence was constructed. The finished product is exactly what we wanted, the gates feel very high quality and sturdy. Skips team did not skip out on any details. "When they started the project, the concrete which was already cracked, seemed to be coming up pretty well.  When that was removed, they found a lot more gravel under the concrete than they anticipated so it was an additional time and expense to remove that.  The garage sill had to be repoured and they began installing the correct type of gravel and pounding down the base.  Being  April, it rained a lot in there and it slowed the progress as you can imagine.  Can't do much about the weather.  I also had some blocks on my garage foundation that were loose so they refilled the mortar to stabilize the foundation. This is when we found that the gutter drain pipes were broken and clogged.  They installed new piping and we cleaned out the remaining pipes before installing the pavers.  By having the "O" in the middle, it made for a lot more cuts and took some additional time but it was worth it.  They sealed the driveway and finally they installed the sod around the edges.  Along the way Jake had to deal with a major personal issue but handled it very well.  Jake and his crew did a very good job and handled all the little things that came up very professionally.  I don't know of any other contractor who would have worked with me the way they did.  In my opinion, they provided me with a great finished product and I would use them in the future.

"As is common with Angie's List special deals, the service was extremely over subscribed and the process was not executed until the winter had passed, the 2014 spring rains subsided and the lawn was finally aerated.  I saw no seeding or fertilization on the lawn or the driveway. It was not worth the time and effort to call again and have the issue resolved.  I will probably use them again, but will take time off from work to closely supervise the actions and insure I receive everything I am paying for.

He grabbed my snow shovel to dig my car out so that he wouldn't have to get too close with his equipment. He went above and beyond what he needed to. I have a hundred foot driveway and he got the extra snow on the sides as well and around the mailbox."
