"Dave installed two recessed mirrored medicine cabinets. He did great work despite challenges with the space and placement of one of the cabinets. His pricing is extremely reasonable and he is great to work with. I will definitely hire him again for future projects!"

"Bud and his team completed a 1100 square foot lake house drywall and finishing project. They worked with me on some construction delays and completed the job ontime with high level of quality workmanship. I obtained 6 bids from various home advisor companies and the bids was all over the place, Buds company was not the lowest but being in the construction field i had the most confidence when communicating with them. I can honestly say I me and my wife made the right decision. I highly recommend them and will use them for any future work we may have."

"We hired Kile to finish 6500 square feet of drywall that we hung in our addition to our home at Indian Lake. As an owner of a home maintenance and repair business, and a serious DoItYourselfer, I knew that this was not a job that I was comfortable doing myself. I was impressed with not only the quality of his work, but his communication of the entire process. He and his crew arrived on time, were respectful of our property, and cleaned up after the job was done. In my opinion, there is no one better to call upon for your drywall needs. Thank you Kile. Drywall questions, answered by experts

The short answer is yes, a sagging plaster ceiling is dangerous. Sagging plaster on a wall is something you should fix immediately, but it isn’t a major concern. If the same type of sagging occurs on a ceiling, however, you could be in danger of your ceiling falling in large chunks. When plaster sags, it loses its strength and ability to hold itself up. The bonds that hold it together are strong, though, so if a sagging area falls, it will take large pieces down with it.

When choosing materials for finishing basement walls, consider factors such as moisture resistance, durability, and fire resistance. Opt for materials specifically designed for basement environments, like moisture-resistant drywall or cement board. Insulation with vapor barriers can help regulate temperature and prevent condensation. Consider using mold-resistant paints or coatings.

Research and consult with experts to select materials that are suitable for your specific basement conditions and intended use. Prioritize quality and compatibility to achieve long-lasting and aesthetically pleasing results.

While every home has its own unique needs, ceiling drywall installation typically follows a staggered or stepped pattern to enhance structural integrity and reduce the visibility of seams. Starting from one corner, sheets are placed perpendicular to the ceiling joists, with the ends of adjacent sheets meeting along the center of the joist. The next row begins with a half sheet, ensuring joints don't align vertically. This alternating pattern, combined with proper taping and mudding, creates a seamless appearance and strengthens the ceiling structure, minimizing the risk of cracks over time.

It's generally recommended to hang drywall on the ceiling first before moving on to the walls. This sequence allows the ceiling sheets to provide support for the vertical wall sheets. By attaching the ceiling drywall initially, you establish a solid framework to align and attach the wall panels accurately. This method ensures a seamless and sturdy connection between the ceiling and walls, resulting in a more professional finish.

Costs depend on damage size, labor rates, and whether additional services like painting are required.
