"Nick did a fabulous job on our basement remodel. His craftmanship and creative problem solving really helped transform a challenging space in our 100+ year home. While there are many good contractors and carpenters out there, what sets Nick apart is his excellent communication skills and willingness to incorporate our ideas into the project in a way that combined our vision for the project and Nick's technical expertise to create a beautiful update to our home. Nick did a great job keeping us in the loop as the project was going and always was clear about any issues he encountered and potential ways to address them. We added a good number of additional components to the job and he was able to effectively address all aspects of the project (plumbing, electric, HVAC, dry wall, insulation, etc.) really well and keep things moving along with minimal disruptions. He is very detailed in his final trim and door work and definitely knows how to make things look very good! "Improveit installed a window and now the wall is wet and makes water bubbles and Improveit takes months to respond to leaks which has caused damage to wall structure. They only respond to threats and have came out at least 5 times and still call to make repairs and i dont believe they have the skill necessary to repair or they would have completed it by now. Beware of this company. gutter repair or replacement no roof estimate was given since the roof was fairly new and in good condition. I reluctantly called a roof company to inspect roof and specifically the area above and around the window and again the roof is in good condition. Exhausted dealing with Improveit when they refuse to improve anything and have cau"

"We hired Diamond in the Rough Construction for a home addition, and while the finished result looks good at first glance, the process was full of issues and cost us much more than expected. We chose Diamond because of Abby, the salesperson, who was incredibly helpful and responsive. However, she left midway through the project, and we missed her support. Addison, the project manager, did his best but was left to handle more than he should have. The owners, Joe and Mike, were completely absent ? no check-ins or follow-ups, even when major issues arose.There were significant mistakes, like framing the windows to the wrong size, and we were blamed for "approving the wrong windows." HVAC was also forgotten until after construction started, forcing us to pay thousands more. The trim was poorly finished with putty that didn?t match the color of the pre-painted trim, and the solution was simply to cover the nail holes with a paint pen.
