"Several years ago we had tree roots that were growing into and blocking our drainage lines beneath our basement floor perimeter. We called EverDry and they promptly sent our a representative who laid out a clear plan with cost. It was during the colder weather and he gave us a better price to keep his men busy. They worked efficiently and dug out around the exterior and tarred the walls. Inside, they broke through the floor around the perimeter to lay new lines and moved the sump pump to a further corner of the basement and neatly covered the old hole. It was a messy job that my wife and I feared would never get cleaned up. How wrong we were. They removed all of the concrete debris and when they were finished, our basement was as clean as it had been before the work started. Remarkable! "They waterproofed my basement and installed a sump pump and ez breathe machine. They did show up on time. I wasn't able to get everything the salesperson promised me- I had a ledge that was structural and couldn't be taken out, they couldn't put the stable wall on my cobblestone foundation, but said I will get a rebate check for the cost of the wall they didn't do. The basement no longer looks like a dungeon. The durashield on the walls looks much better. They did take an interior basement door out and didn't put it back ( I hired a handyman to do that). They also suggested getting electric outlets for the sump pump and ez breathe (currently using extension cords). I am awaiting an estimate on how much that wil cost from a local electrician."

"In all of the 24 years that we've lived in our home, our sump pump never kicked on. We just assumed that it was because it didn't have to because our property is on a hill, but it turns out that it was rusted solid. Also, the water pipes from the downspouts on the west side of the house to the street were clogged with soil and/or roots, and were not draining rain water underground to the street's gutter efficiently, so in a heavy downpour, the excess water was seeping through the concrete blocks of our foundation on that side of the house. Luckily, we discovered water on the floor in our basement before it got to be a major problem, and we scheduled a crew from Stay Dry Waterproofing to install a new sump pump and all new PVC pipes underground. They showed up on Monday morning as promised, and spent several hours tunneling under the mulch beds next to our house and down the hill, and then UNDER the sidewalk to the gutter. They did a good job by returning the top soil dirt back into the trench and the sod back in place. They did poke a small hole in the plastic window well cover with a shovel, but it's no big deal (we sealed it with duct tape, and big flowerpots will cover it in the summer). "We had a french drain and a sump pump put in. The basement was never quite dry after they put the French drain. We called to complain and they sent out the repair man. I said yes the basement was damp before but only when it rained, and now that was damp all the time. I tried to explain to him that the basement was only wet when we a had major rain fall out side. He said that we could purchase a $2100 dehumidifier. When we complained about that. He told us his boss said that we could purchase it for a have it for $1800 and there was a service fee I think around $150. We said we where not going to pay a service fee. In the spring when it raining a lot we started getting water coming through the floor. They came out again and told us to add feeder lines or paint the floor with this special water proof paint. So we painted it. Once again after one of the heavy rains water came up threw the floor. Maybe more work needs to be done they should had said that before they did the job. We trusted the quote they gave us. We trusted what they told us, about what needed to be done to water proof the basement. They where not the least cheapest quote we had or the most expensive."
