"The patio had sunk and some places were like 2 inches higher. Now it is all one level. Mason and his crew were professional about the job they did. When they left everything was cleaned up and looking much nicer then before."

Subcontracting is not something Smith's does unless needed. My company also specializes in benefits for Veteran's and Seniors. For all jobs I do ask for half the contracted payment to be paid before the job is started, an the other half to be paid at the time of completion. There is also available options for a payment plan, but same as the full payment option half of the contracted billing cost must be paid before the start of the job. For the the security of the business and for the home owner all jobs that are to be contracted with my company will have fully legal binding contracts for either full payment or payment plans an for the work that is done by Smith' s quality home repair &remodeling. I'm also fully insured.

We specialize in all kinds of concrete design options as well as repair, slab jacking (slab leveling), and protection. Re-deck offers repair of any concrete with our Redeck Patch and Leveling Compound that drys in minutes. We also offer a concrete and masonry washing and sealing service. We have developed a product that will eliminate many concrete problems, but will not change the appearance or the texture of the surface. This will not discolor the concrete or cause it to be slippery. The Concrete Protector makes concrete easier to clean, is salt, UV, and stain resistant, and environmentally responsible. This will protect your concrete surfaces from the effects of exposure that cause the damage: severe conditions like rainwater, repeated melting and freezing, road salts, or de-icers. The Concrete Protector will seal the surface, and infiltrate the pores of the concrete, keeping these conditions from further damaging your concrete. We also offer Epoxy Resinous Flooring. For areas that require a safe, clean, durable, and aesthetically appealing flooring solution, the Concrete Protector Resinous Flooring will provide exceptional value and performance over pre-engineered floors. From hospitals and garage floors to school hallways and grocery stores, resinous flooring systems are continuing to gain popularity with architects and designers because of their unique ability to deliver seamless cleanliness, stain resistance, unrivaled durability, slip-free safety, and endless design possibilities. Concrete Leveling questions, answered by experts

Tree roots don’t necessarily break through concrete on their own, but they can certainly take advantage of existing cracks, even very small ones. As roots grow, they expand the cracks, making them larger and leading to serious and costly foundation damage. It’s a good idea to have repairs on any foundation cracks you’re concerned about.

What goes under your floating deck depends on your preferences. Some homeowners put landscaping fabric underneath their decks to prevent weeds from popping up through the boards. Others choose to build a floating deck over grass or gravel. However, it’s best not to set your deck directly on the ground. Instead, set your deck on blocks to keep it elevated enough to prevent moisture from rotting the wood.

The standard thickness for a concrete driveway is four inches for an area that holds cars and pickup trucks. Larger vehicles like motor homes, heavier trucks, and trailers should be thicker to accommodate the added weight without cracking. Plan to pour concrete five inches thick for driveways that need to accommodate large, heavy vehicles.

Pool concrete or gunite can take several weeks to cure, or an average of 30 days, before workers can resume construction. Additional work and finishes push the time to build a pool out of concrete to between three and six months. There are many types of pools that take far less time, so keep these in mind if you're on a short timeline.

Drying concrete faster after rain is tricky because you’d need to increase the temperature or airflow over your slab, both of which are challenging to do outdoors. It can help to remove water from your concrete quickly, though, as the faster you remove rain from the surface, the lower the risk of the water affecting the ratio of your concrete mix. Use squeegees or mops to remove water, and consider covering your slab with a tarp to protect it from future rainfall.
