"Dusty was very professional and gave me a fair price. He explained everything in detail and what the plan was. I had some mice and birds that were getting into our attic & we found a few mice in our house. He and his crew came in and removed everything thing in the attic, sanitized, sealed everything from the inside and then did brand new insulation. He checked on us over the next month and came back 2 more times to check the status of our attic trap. He was very fast, fair and professional. I would hire his company again."

Our first job will always be to humanely remove the unwelcome animal from the property. The second, and equally important job is to ensure the animal does not come back. Through an individual designed trapping and exclusion program that is unique to your specific property, we ensure you will be satisfied with calling Huntsman Wildlife. Our services are designed around the core instincts and biology, but also the individual behaviors and habits, of each unwelcome animal. Raccoons from a barn in Amelia and raccoons in the dumpster of an apartment complex in OTR are going to behave and act very differently. As such, removal and exclusion needs to be handled differently. That is where the mentality of a Huntsman is paramount and why we named our company after one.

"We hired and paid Ryan on 3/2/22 to determine if we had a squirrel in our attic. He placed us on a 30 day program which he would visit once every 10 days (3 visits).His first visit was on 3/21/22. We reached out to Ryan on 4/11/22 to see if he planned to visit (mind you its been over 30 days now). We asked that Ryan try to come out this week to complete the service to which he replied that he no longer felt safe, didnt like bullying and would be placing us on a "do not service" list. My wife and I were shocked to say the least. Please note that on our call with Ryan the next morning, he also stated “I know you military people like to assert dominance and that’s not going to happen here”. I served in Afghanistan in 2012 and am very proud of my service. I’ve had the pleasure of working with people of all diversities and personalities. To say that “Us military people like to assert dominance” is not the image we want the public to have of our service members. My wife and I were shocked and absolutely speechless - he was referring to the request to try and complete the service this week."

"They came out right away and only had two chipmunk traps available so they baited and set them. I was told to check them each morning before 9 am and call if there was anything in them and they would come out and deal with them / reset. They were also supposed to come back with more traps. The trap got tripped with nothing in it, I called twice before 9 am and left messages as requested, got no call back, no one ever came back to set more traps or deal with the two they had left. Paid $169 for two used chipmunk traps they don't seem interested in retrieving, I guess."

A simple explanation of Ohio rules would have been enough, no need to shame customers into going with you guys saying that the raccoon could have rabies and other scare tactics. I am plenty old enough to know that it could have a number of diseases, but that doesn't mean I'm going to change my stance. Do not recommend, very rude and had the audacity to rudely say "well I still get paid, that will be $80 for the visit and $10 for the drive from Shelby to ontario." As if I didn't know I still needed to pay him."

Some of the best smells for keeping squirrels away are those that have a spicy or pungent odor. This includes pepper, garlic powder, vinegar, mint, and coffee. Just be careful when handling cayenne or chili pepper. Don’t touch your face to prevent getting some in your eyes, and be sure to keep it away from children and pets.
