"I met with the owner, Mark Yates, to discuss our options. He was very considerate and I never felt pressured to do more than we could afford. As it turned out, we replaced the screens, added a better functioning door with a kitty door for our cat. That was an added feature I didn't think of but was grateful for the suggestion. "We got a 350 paver patio, firepit and seat wall in our back yard. We also had Chris and team fill in an empty area with weed barrier and creek jack (stone). We signed in July, and was told the calendar had us pointing to an October installation. With a very rainy fall, Chris's team kept getting delayed, but Chris did a great job communicating and discussing status with us. Winter arrived, and we didn't get installed until March, but again, Chris kept us in the loop, and I can't really blame him for the weather. Chris has a large backlog of work because of the quality, care, and craftsmanship of his work. He went above and beyond (adjusted some gutters for us, as well as added a pad of concrete at the bottom of our deck stairs to ensure we were setup correctly). If you want a paver patio, walkway, retaining walls, etc.. done right the first time, call Yanton's, they will do it right. We couldn't be more pleased with the patio."

"Anthony Jr. came out promptly to give an estimate. He was professional and emailed me a written estimate soon after his visit. Work began when I was told it would. But, the two men who did the work were not given any information or drawings pertaining to location or size of the fence or gates. After a phone call to supervisor, they began digging. I shared concerns with the workers about larger openings for gates than I had discussed with Anthony Jr. and also the type of gate they were going to install which did not match the style of a split rail fence. They corrected the type of gate but not the size as posts were already in the ground. The posts appear plumb and the rails level. The gates were all hung so they would swing and be secured (the double gate did require another trip out to add a drop bar to hold one side in place and trimming of the top of the gate posts to make it look more aesthetically pleasing). I called Fencemasters after the fence was installed when I realized that the fence was not as large as the estimate stated. I also shared my concerns about workers not being properly equipped with enough information to perform the job correctly, and instead of leaving some extra brown fencing wire for areas I felt had too much of a gap at the bottom the workers chose to put extra dirt all along the fence line, and finally some posts had a mound of exposed concrete. Fencemasters promptly issued a refund and corrected the problems they could."

John was able to adapt to our request and install a second drainage system to reduce the water pooling issue in the backyard. He and his son kept the site clean between work days, thorough site cleanup upon completion (street, sidewalk, work areas) and completed the work quickly with the nice break in Cincinnati weather.
