"I have a video and pictures of this project. I'm willing to show it to anyone that's interested in getting their own opinion. my company was hired in January to install this porch with concrete slab. We video logged the entire project and all along the project the customer was happy. however the customer did not provide us with any plans or any description as to how they wanted the appearance to look. he left that up to us. we install the project installed the railing again with no direction other than an occasional phone call as to when we were making purchases. we poured the concrete we did cover the concrete however there was a crack that did appear. we went in and did a repair and recoated the intire pad ,which I felt was more than satisfactory and in the beginning the customer was happy with it but later they were unhappy due to the discoloration during the curing process and I told them that I would be willing to go in and just replace the entire concrete at that point they said no they did not want us to come back and wanted all their money back there still was a balance of about $1,000 on the project out of courtesy I let them keep that and apologize that they were dissatisfied. however I will say there was no dissatisfaction shared during the entire build process even at the finish of the process other than how we're going to address the colleration in the concrete. the customer was aware that all painting would be done by another contractor that was not part of our proposal. we also let them know that all the nails or screws would have to be caulked as with painters caulk and those will be addressed by the painter. however later when the dissatisfaction of the work was shared with us they were upset that we used pine and not cedar because in their opinion pine could not be painted which is completely false it appeared that the homeowners were attempting to painted themselves with no experience because they had not caulked at all prior to starting the painting and also I did not see that they had primed the material prior to painting. I'm very sorry that this customers were dissatisfied but if you can look at our record not only here but also on home advisor you can see I believe that the reviews do not represent this person's character assessment of our service."
