I had to call a plumber because the shut off valve would not turn it off. Builtmore assured me that it was not leaking when they left, but I was a little sceptical about that. They installed the new countertops and they look really great in the kitchen. The plumber installed the sink and the faucets, but after he left,the water didn't work. I contacted him and it turned out to be very simple (he had not turned the water back on) and I was able to do that with no problem. The wet bar didn't go so well. I was told that I could re-use the stainless steel sink that was there, so I planned to do that. When they installed the granite, the sink wouldn't lay flat on the granite (it had layed completely flat on the old countertops). I thought the sink had been damaged/bent when it was removed since it was fine before. The installers suggested that I run out and purchase a new sink as a new one would lay flat against the granite. I went and did that, and when they put the new sink in, it was exactly the same problem. I thought that perhaps the hole for the sink wasn't large enough, causing it to not lay flush, but they insisted it was the sink. They could think of no way to resolve the problem other than for me to find something very heavy to force the sink in. They ended up caulking the sink, filling the wide gaps with silicone caulk. I'm not satisfied with it. The plumber then came out to hook up the new sink (after he had cancelled an appointment with virtually no notice the day before) and after he left, it was leaking again. He came back again a few days later and said that he could not fix it, that there was something wrong with the (brand new) faucet. I wanted to put the old faucet back in, but they had taken the bar sink and faucets (without my knowledge). So I turned off the water and haven't used the bar sink since. I have to have a plumber come out, disconnect it, put in new faucets, and reconnect it. As it turns out, I didn't need a new sink and faucets, but I could not pull it out and return it becuase the old sink was gone. No one ever called to check back with me to see if I was satisified or if their plumber was able to finish the job properly. I found that to be quite disturbing as they knew I had had some problems with the bar sink and plumbing, I expected a call based upon the amount of money I spent and the fact that there were a couple of glitches. Quite honestly, I did not want to spend any more of my time, so I didn't call them either."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/oh/cincinnati/builtmore-granite-and-cabinetry-reviews-6053417.htm"},"position":10}]}
Sink Repair reviews from real Angi homeowners in Golf Manor, OH
I love Herrmann's. For each job, I got a careful and patient explanation. The sink leak was fixed. No problem at all. And the undersink reverse osmosis filter in my apartment's kitchen is wonderful. Even though this is a rental, it was worth it. I'll them just take it out and reinstall it...

"I typically do not leave reviews, but my experience with Tom Drexler Plumbing was so poor that I feel compelled to share it in hopes of preventing others from wasting their time and money. I initially contacted the company to address a leaking faucet in a spare bathroom. I was given a vague appointment window of 8 AM to 5 PM and informed that if I didn’t answer a call prior to their arrival, the technician would not show up. When the technician arrived, he spent time criticizing the company’s hiring practices rather than focusing on the repair. He determined that a full tub and shower replacement was needed, quoting over $1,000. The work could not be done the same day, requiring me to schedule another appointment. The technician arrived late and took the entire day to complete the job, spending a significant portion of time sitting on my staircase visibly exhausted. The installation was subpar—both the faucet and showerhead were protruding nearly two inches from the wall, and the showerhead was visibly crooked. The faucet and showerhead were protruding so far out they couldn't even be caulked. My wife documented the issues with photos. She sent them to me after the tech left. I immediately called Tom Drexler, informed them of the subpar work, and requested a different technician to correct the poor workmanship. A new technician arrived the following week and made the necessary adjustments. However, within four days of using the shower, a leak developed in the ceiling of the kitchen below, and our toilet began leaking from the base when flushed—suggesting possible plumbing pressure or blockage issues. I contacted the company again and scheduled yet another appointment. Despite being given the same 8 AM to 5 PM time frame, no one showed up, and I had to follow up myself to learn the technician wasn’t coming. Eventually, another technician did visit and claimed the ceiling leak was due to "residual water" and dismissed the toilet issue. When the ceiling stain continued to grow, I called again and requested a supervisor. The supervisor came a week later, concluded that the issue wasn’t related to their work, and left without offering any solutions. Altogether, I had to take four days off work to accommodate this series of visits. I now need to hire another plumber from a different company to resolve the ongoing leak. Based on my experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend Tom Drexler Plumbing. The quality of work, communication, and overall customer service were consistently poor throughout the entire process."

FAQs for sink repair projects in Golf Manor, OH
The average cost to hire a handyman ranges from about $40 to $140 per hour. Average project cost ranges between $180 and $700, but the cost per hour and per project depends heavily on the type, size, and complexity of the project. The pro’s experience level and your location also factor into how much a handyman charges per hour or per project. You can also expect to pay higher rates or additional fees for emergency services, or around periods of high customer demand, like holidays.
Yes, most states require plumbers to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed plumber could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
The average cost to unclog a drain is around $200, with prices ranging between $110 and $800, depending on the type of drain and the extent of the clog. Hiring a professional to snake the toilet or sink will usually cost between $110 and $275, a bathtub or shower typically costs around $225, and a main line clog can cost between $100 and $800 based on the severity of the clog and how far beyond the access point the clog sits. Since the labor involved varies, most plumbers will charge an hourly rate for drain cleaning.
Yes, you should hire a handyman who’s licensed, certified, and insured, if possible. States have different requirements for handyman licensing, registration, and certifications. If licensing is required in your area, you may pay more for a licensed handyman with experience than one who is not licensed or certified, but you’re likely to get a better end result for your project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local handymen guidelines.
The average cost to hire a plumber is around $100 an hour but can vary between $45 and $200 an hour depending on the plumber’s experience and the repair that you need. It’s also important to note that these prices can go up on holidays, and emergency plumber rates average $150 per hour, in addition to a flat-rate trip fee of $100 to $350.
