"Carifa Tile was outstanding from the beginning process to the end. After visits from 4 bathroom remodelers, Carifa Tile was clearly the winner. They were the ONLY one that provided a detailed proposal 4 pages long. Their pricing was very competitive as well, clearly beating 2 of the other companies who almost doubled their price. Joe, the president, pointed me where to go to get the tile (The Tile Store) and fixtures (Bath Works) and stone (Lang Stone) we needed and we were able to get a substantial discount at those stores by mentioning Carifa Tile sent us. It saved us a couple thousand dollars. The actual demolition and construction went very smooth. It took about 3 weeks to get their work done. (Stand alone tub; curbless shower) The tile work by Angelo (Carifa Tile) was superb. He is an artist and a technician. Their plumber, Greg, was very skilled as well. Joe was personally involved throughout the project to ensure a perfect ending. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone needing a project having to do with tile."

"Rene is incredibly nice, a great communicator. He always let us know when he was coming. We had tiles that had come off of our shower wall and didn't know what to do. We had Rene out to look and see if he could salvage the shower. He and his crew did an AMAZING job removing the surrounding tiles, even went above and beyond what we asked and smoothed out tiles that were previously out of place. He also regrouted the whole shower. They also kept a very clean area, which I appreciated. What was a tired looking shower, he made look fresh and new. "Steven seems like a nice enough guy and he seems to have sufficient technical knowledge of tiling. That said, Steven either has very low detail focus or exerts as little effort as possible (I truly don't know which). He does only "OK" work on his own (some uneven tiles and non-uniform grouting) but wants the customer to work side-by-side with him throughout the job to tell him whenever he does something that the customer believes is unacceptable. His justification for this is that "everyone has different opinions" about what is acceptable. So, if you aren't diligent in catching poor work, you will get merely an OK job. To be fair, he will gladly fix customer-identified problems. If you have the time and desire to work with him throughout the job to point out problems, then he may fine. If you, like us, are busy, are not a price buyer, and want a motivated professional who delivers objectively high-quality tile work with minimal "babysitting", you should probably look elsewhere."
