  Sembro did an outstanding job with installing a new bathroom with a tiled shower in a previous storage area of our basement. This was a large project which involved cutting through concrete to lay new plumping for the shower and toilet and hooking into plumbing and electrical in a house constructed in the 1940s. The work was done very professionally and to schedule. They did an excellent job coordinating between multiple tradesworkers and with the city for inspections. Prior to the work being done, Sembro created an itemized list of the costs, including supplies, which I was able to review and modify before signing the contract. At the end of the project there were no hidden costs added on, and the only additional item during the work was already agreed upon and priced fairly. The only opportunity for improvement was that there was a lot of dirt created during the installation, most of which is understandable given the nature of the project, but I think more could have been done to limit dust to the work areas (such as hanging plastic sheets over doorways when sanding or removing rugs in the drainage pathway when using the wetsaw). But overall the project came out excellent and I would hire them again. Thanks

  The job went well. A lot of prep work because of the nature of the job. They had to make sure they didn't get any of the polishing slurry onto the adjacent carpeting as well as baseboards, walls etc. They did an excellent job in that regard because there was absolutely nothing that needed to be repaired or touched up when they finished. <br /> The marble tiles, which were dull and scuffed, now look like mirrors. Absolutely beautiful. When anybody walks into the house through the front door, the marble floor captures their attention immediately and they are sure to comment on it. <br /> The two employees, Richard and Joe, were both good at their jobs, true professionals. <br /> I would use this company again in a heartbeat. <br /

  They were very pleasant to work with at first. I thought the vanity installation was o.k (not the best, but I was satisfied). The plumbing underneath the sink was leaking and I called them about it. He came 2 days later and tightened it. The gasket still looked crooked , but at the time it was not leaking, so he left. A couple of hours later it was leaking again, so I called him again. H e came out again, but not right away and I asked him to redo the whole pipe connection underneath, not just tighten things and he did. It did not leak at the time he left, but started again very soon after. I called and said that I wanted to call my plumber and wanted a refund of the plumbing cost and he said he would, and it would be just like I had a plumber do the faucet instead of Guru. My plumber came and found that there was NO sealing putty under the drain ring inside the sink! I called and told them about it and they said they would give me 50% of the plumbing cost (which was $100). I said they should give me $97.50 because that is what my plumber charged and that Guru did not do the job right. They told me at the beginning that they do plumbing. Also they charge 10% extra if you use a credit card which they told me at the beginning. They said to pick up the $50 refund check at their place. I used my credit card, so I don't know why they couldn't credit my Discover Card like every other business does. All in all, they lost my business, which would be my kitchen counter tops

David was very responsive - even when i would let time pass between our early communication as i priced the job and considered materials he was very quick to communicate back with me. Materials were delivered when he said they would be. The work took place when he said it would. The porch looks wonderful.   I had my entire kitchen re-done from floor to ceiling. I liked that Cabinet-S-Top is a one stop shopping location. I picked out the cabinet color and door style. They have many colors to choose from. Then the room design was made and my designer gave me several design options to choose from. Next I picked out the floor tile, countertop and backsplash. They even have many cabinet door hardware styles to choose from. I had 3 windows removed and 1 new window installed. The soffits were removed to give me more cupboard space which I badly needed. There was some minor plumbing changes to do, but the electrical wiring was totally re-done and a new breaker box was installed. It was a joy working with my designer from Cabinet-S-Top. She had many years of experience and she was patient with me and my changes. I highly recommend Cabinet-S-Top to anyone planning to remodel their kitchen.
