We first called Paul in October of 2021 while we were calling around to different companies for quotes on a multi-room home addition. After speaking with a couple of businesses, and then Paul, I immediately noticed a difference in tone and interest when speaking with Paul and discussing my hopes for the project. His attitude was friendly, and there was no sense of superiority or talking down to me as some others had done. The sense I got from him on those first couple of calls was that he wanted to see what we wanted and he wanted to work on this project. One of the first times that I realized how truly special Paul and his team are was when we got the quote for the job. It was much higher than we had originally been talking about and we knew we’d have to decline and potentially start over or have to wait—something like that. We said simply that it was out of the budget, but we thanked him for his time. He asked if he could rework some things for us with his team and come back to us because they really wanted to do our project. That surprised me.
