"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

LAD Masonry is a Full Service Masonry company specializing in Brick and Block Repair, Chimney Repair, Tuckpointing and more! We are a Licensed and Insured business located in Barberton Ohio and Servicing NE Ohio. We offer Free Local Estimates and Very Competitive pricing. over 12 years of experience

Bricks cut out to replace. This is the proper way of replacing damaged bricks. Some use mortar to cover the damage, or stone veneer without fixing the actual problem. If your bricks are damaged, request that they be cut out and replaced completely. If your mason says it can't or won't do it, look for another mason!
Unfortunately finding a perfect match for the brick can be difficult. In this case the original bricks are stone face 11 1/2". There were no 11 1/2" stone face bricks that were a close match so the customer chose bark face bricks of the same color. It's not a perfect match but with time and weathering the color will be identical.

Chimney Caps questions, answered by experts

You should contact a local range hood installation professional to install your range hood and do the ductwork. Prices range from $50 to $100 per hour, with the total number of hours required varying based on the project complexity. Simple installations might take an hour or two, while more complicated ones can take four hours or more.

A higher CFM will make the price of your range hood more expensive. It can be challenging to speculate how much the CFM rating affects price, but ductless range hoods—that don’t need as high of a CFM as ducted range hoods—are less expensive than their alternative. On average, ductless hoods cost between $100 and $300, while ducted hoods can cost as much as $1,000.

Yes, professionals can often retrofit models with minimal disruption.

By positioning ductwork for optimal airflow and reducing potential leaks.

If a range hood has minor issues, the average repair costs $85 to $210. This accounts for both parts and labor. More extensive damage can cost as much as $300 to $500, at which point it may be worth considering completely replacing the range hood.
