"This company seems like a scam. There is no local address. All calls I got pertaining to the service looked to be coming from New York City (I live in Cleveland Ohio). I requested service, a tech came out that I could not understand due to him not being able to speak English, he looked at my fireplace, spent less than 10 minutes here, did not give his name, had me click a link on my phone to "approve an estimate" which I stupidly did, charged me $100 and left. Our gas fireplace still doesn't work right. I would not trust this company."

"I am sure that all positive reviews for this company are fake. Nothing that was promised to me was delivered. My siding project is still ongoing for over 1 month. Was told that it would be done in week. Had one rain day. They have system like this: 1) sales person who never installed anything he will promise you things that obviously are not true, 2) crew that is subcontracted but not Gunner, mine was driving for over 2 hours away, 3) person who oversees the project but has little control over anything, no supply, doesn't know the crew, crew does not listen to him, main office does not listen to him, 4) main office does not reply to you. They just tell me to talk to project manager who has no control. So you understand that if there are any issue you are on your own. Quality or work is not good. Many times I had to point to the crew what's wrong, planks are broken yet they were still installing it, caulking is done they way that I can do it better, they cut wires to awning etc"

"8/2020 My experience: I gene Dave a deposit for an upcoming bathroom remodel on8-6-2020. Work to start on 8-26-2020. He promised to not only start that day, materials were to be picked up at Home Depot. Waited all day for delivery, he was a no show. I finally just let him know that I want my deposit back. I am unhappy because he keeps changing his story. I don’t trust him anymore and I don’t want anyone else to be a victim of a contractor that does not stand by his word or commitments. I am a retired female that lives alone and live on social security. Please Beware 4/2021 My experience: I am writing an update on Dave’s Construction Design LLc. After 10/2020 and the horrible workmanship of Dave and his crew, even more problems arose with my bathroom. The tile that was cracked under the toilet caused a water leak from the toilet itself. My grout lines get covered in mold bc of the waster leaking under the toilet. God knows what it will cost to fix now. He is dishonest, his work is horrible and he does not stand behind it. "Our complaint is much like the prior complaint of 2017. Apparently he is still conducting business in the same manor. Rob Cook, reported to the job sporadically citing many excuses (which were outlandish) why he was not able to work. Suffice it to say, he did not finish the job after being paid and would not return calls or text messages. If we had seen all the negative feedback on him, we never would have hired him. Today personal integrity, moral and ethical relationships are the cornerstones of business. It pays in good will for the short term and earns dividends in the long term in the form of solid, mutually rewarding relationships and referrals. In the law of Karma, he is responsible for his own life and how he treats other people. We do however wonder if he likes the man looking back at him in the mirror each morning."
