"Bob was outstanding. Day one he completely demolished the old chimney and removed all of the bricks and wrapped up the existing chimney flu. He returned the next day and was wrapping things up when I returned home from work. The results look perfect. So much, that a neighbor asked me for his name because he said I have the best chimney on the block now. His price was very fair from other companies, he wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive. "I just want to offer an update to my initial review.  It's been a little over a year since my roof has been replaced.  We've had at least six major thunder storms come through the area (two of which resulted in tornadoes within 3 miles of our home) and been through a brutal winter with sub zero temps and major snow fall.  The roof is still intact, all shingles in place and no leaks!  Leaking had been a huge problem in the past in the garage when we had driving rain with the old roof & ridge vent installed by the builder .  The architectural shingles Ed installed still look great and their heavier weight and design have kept them from flipping during heavy winds and storms.  Overall, I just want to say again what a professional job Ed Popil and his crew did on this job.  I would gladly use them again and refer them to anyone considering a roof replacement or repair.

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

"I observed water stain on ceiling in my laundry room. I called Jaime and asked him to figure out where it was coming from. I had used him successfully in the past to have a storm door installed. He inspected the roof and found that the rubber seal round the vent pipe for the drain had decayed and that's where the water was getting in. He replaced the seal then gave me a roof inspection. He looked at the other vent pipe on other side of house and found the seal was okay but put some caulk on it to make it last longer. He also looked at the attic vents and found that one of them had loose nails, so he nailed it down tight and sealed the nails. He said the rest of the roof looked okay. He is a good guy. Friendly and nice to talk to.

"Initially they agreed to treat the roof to stop the leaks. We agreed on a price. I waited a week for scheduling, and they called, said they wouldn't treat the roof, roof too unsafe. Instead they wanted to replace boards. That was not the original agreement, so I found someone else to coat my garage roof."

"These guys will always be my "go to" chimney cleaners. They arrived ontime and were glad to see me. They cheerfully inspected the chimney for my woodstove and explained what they were doing as they worked. After inspection they explained that I really didn't need a cleaning and therefore the price would be less than anticipated. I had them clean the pipe anyway which they did very quickly. Now spotlessly clean, I can use my woodstove without worrying about creosote buildup. Once done they schooled me on the best way to burn wood as efficiently as possible to extend the time between necessary cleanings. If you want your chimney cleaned and inspected correctly, call these guys.
