"I saw what I thought was a mouse at the foundation of my home. Called Prevent Pest Control to come out and see. They told me they would come out check for mice & setup bait station & I had to buy the bait station. Man came out that same day and I told him where I saw the mouse/activity at the outside foundation of my home. He gave me some sticky traps to setup in my garage & put the bait station at the opposite side of my home where I did not see any activity. A couple of days later I saw more mice running around my foundation. I called another pest control service & they came out & saw right away that I did not have mice but voles. They setup bait station all around my home & in my garage even checked inside my home for any pests. Prevent Control did not even know a mouse from a vole and never checked inside of my home. Prevent charged me approx. $240.00 for doing nothing."

"I have just cancelled my service. This is the second year in a row that they have scheduled an aerate and overseed without my permission. I have asked for a two day notice for lawn service and they can't even do that! Last time two times they came to fertilize they yard it the grass was severely burnt. I called and they sent someone to fix the burnt spots, and he acted like he had no idea what he was doing, and of course the issue was not resolved. This company does not have good customer service. I am cancelling all services and will never use them again! "

Most spiders are harmless and are more interested in finding and eating insects than trying to bite you or your family members. While vinegar doesn’t get rid of spider webs that already exist, spraying a mixture of vinegar and water in areas where you’ve found webs before will deter spiders from rebuilding there. The acetic acid within vinegar can harm and kill spiders, so they’ll want to stay as far away from this strong-smelling substance as they can get. 

Whether rain affects a professional mosquito treatment depends on the treatment type, the quantity and intensity of rain involved, and how soon after the treatment it rains. Larvicides, for example, are often applied to water sources where mosquitoes lay their eggs, so it won’t matter if it rains. Some barrier sprays need sufficient time before the next rainfall to penetrate the surfaces properly and do their work.
