Marty could have tried to take advantage of the situation but instead looked at our home as if it was his and said he would do nothing and let time show it's face if there is any other settling. Possibly $0 vs over $23k from a competitor. Afterwards I explained to Marty my concerns with the clear difference in the 2 quotes and broke down my quote from IFS. He stated 2 of the 3 items quoted were completely unnecessary and they wouldn't charge near the same price if we needed work in the future for jacks/piers. Let's hope that's not needed but if so I will be calling them back. They even provided a contractor for the drywall that beat the previous prices I was quoted."
