"It was my first time using this company and I couldn’t be happier with the job they did on my couches carpet and upholstered chains. Any previous stubborn stain on my chairs is now completely gone. They bring their own water and whatever products they use left a really nice clean smell. The two owners who did my job are professional friendly and extremely good at their job. I plan on spreading the word about them and for sure will be using them again. As for their price -it is way more reasonable then companies I have used in the past"

"I used Z & J for my recent remodel and truly could not be happier with the work, as well as the guys who came out and completed the work. Zach and his crew were on time, professional, kept me updated and cleaned up literally everything before leaving. I cannot recommend them enough and will be using them for all of my future projects. Do not hesitate to book Z & J"

"Shad did a wonderful job blending the lips on our tile install in the entryway way of our home. My husband (and I) installed the tile and were not happy with the outcome. Shad fixed our mess and the tile looks great now!"

"A-1 company!!~ The owners are professional, personable, detail-oriented and extremely hard working. Thanks to them, my 25 year -old marble tile floors have a new lease on life and shine like new. Shad and Janelle did everything they said they would and more. I highly recommend them and would hire them again without question."

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

Porcelain countertops have a fairly long life span, sometimes lasting for decades. Depending on how much wear and tear you put your countertops through, it could last 25 to 50 years. But be warned, porcelain is also prone to cracking, so as long as you take good care of it, you’ll have those countertops looking brand new for years to come.

If the hearth ends against a wall, you can use a tile cutter as you normally would. However, if the edge of your hearth ends with no surface pressing against it,you may want to look into rounded tiles. These give a smooth edge to your hearth and make sure cut edges aren’t visible. You can also see if the tile you have has pieces that have been glazed or rounded on one edge. You’d then cut the tile and place it normally, with the cut edge facing inward.

Most professional shower tile installations take between six and eight hours, depending on the size and complexity. Most projects get completed in a single workday. DIY-ing the project takes around three to four days or roughly 16 hours. However, this will vary based on the skill level of the person completing the work.

Add a T-shaped spacer to each corner of a tile when placing it. You’ll want to nudge the tiles closer together so the spacers are touching each corner. When you’re done installing your tile, you can remove each spacer, wash them, and use them for your next project.

If you hire a professional to lay tile, you can expect to pay $3 to $15 per square foot for labor. For a 100-square-foot tiling project, that would equal $30 to $150 in labor. These costs may increase if you need extra services (such as tile removal, wall repair, or waterproofing). For example, tile removal costs an additional $2 to $7 per square foot.
