"When I first had this company do small projects for me, I was impressed with the work, however, as the projects kept being done, he was always in such a hurry. He had so many customers to handle, he did not have time to really do a good job. He replaced a vanity in a bathroom, and cracked the drain pipe (2 inch crack). It was left. It began to leak and ruined my ceiling in my living room. So now all the plumbing and ceiling need replaced at my cost. He installed bead board on another bathroom along with trim. It was the worst job I have ever seen. I sat down and cried after he left. Again at my out-of-pocket costs, I now have a beautiful bathroom installed properly. He needs to be up front with customers that his scope of work does not include plumbing, electrical or fine carpentry. Horrible job..."

I have 20 years experience in the construction field, ranging from building houses from the ground up to building docks. There is no job too big or small. From repairs to remodels, I am your guy. I can provide many references from satisfied customers. I am available to help you put a mailbox up, fix a garage door to building a shed. I am a skilled carpenter by trade, however, I have some electrical, plumbing and tree removal experience. My name is Dustin. I am a new father and my family is my world. I would love to help you with any of your handyman needs.

I can do just about anything from lanscaping to roofing and can put in a new driveway if you want me too. I have a touch of OCD so I want to do every job likes it's a masterpiece by the time I'm finished. I can also guarantee my prices will beat anyone and will outwork anyone as well.

Tipping contractors is not expected or required. However, consider tipping your remodeling contractor if they exceed your expectations.

While handypeople do not need to be licensed in many places, you should only hire insured pros for any home improvement work. Your handyperson should have active liability coverage that protects them and you in the case of an error or accident. Furthermore, if they have employees on your property, they should also have workers’ compensation insurance. If you hire an individual or a company that is not insured and they damage your property, have an accident while on the job, or become injured on your property without insurance, you can be held financially liable.

After cutting Corian® to the right size, you may have to attach it to another piece of Corian®, either at a corner or another seam. One way to create the tightest seam is to place the two pieces of Corian® on a level surface at ⅜-inch apart. Run a router in between the two slabs to create an identical edge on both pieces. Then use the proper DuPont Joint Adhesive for your type of seam and countertop to join the Corian® together.

The appeal of hiring a handyperson is two-fold: first, they usually cost less than hiring certified experts, and second, they complete a massive variety of projects, ranging from installing light fixtures and fixing plumbing leaks to refinishing wood floors and replacing doors in your home. Provided the job doesn’t require a specific license to complete—like a plumber’s license or electrician’s license—a handyperson will likely be able to tackle the work. Handypeople have a broad range of home improvement experience, so professionals can usually handle any project in your home that doesn’t need to be done by a licensed tradesperson.

Yes, you can use a dremel tool to cut plexiglass. Follow the instructions under “How to Cut Plexiglass with a Saw,” and use a dremel tool with a 561 bit instead of a saw.
