We specialize in interior remodeling (big or small), drywall repairs, painting, tiling, exterior siding, decks, and more! We are an owner-operated company, that will always be on-site. "Installed bad parts, wanted to charge another job to fix. Plumbing leaking in wall if tub is used. Caulking separated within 48 hours. Popcorn sprayed all over my skylight. Called me a liar multiple times, saying he warned me of bad parts. Not true. Shady company, unwilling to resolve anything they messed up. Pictures and texts will be posted on social media to come. (After ripping me off, he also ruined a neighbors remodel up the Street from me, also overcharged) I was quoted 22$ an hour for him, 15$ an hour for his helper for 40 hours. They both were they together COMBINED working 25 hours for 1700$ labor. That's 68$ each ... Unreal. Good luck"

"Mike and his crew were great! They came when they said that they would and finished on time with no delays. Price was very fair compared to others for the same job. Our new patio looks awesome! Would hire again."

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

The rule tells you how to cut tile to install it in a corner. The 3/4/5 rule recommends that you should have 3 feet across on one straight line, four feet on the other perpendicular line, and 5 feet of length from the end of one of the lines to the other. You’re making a right triangle with the tile, and the hypotenuse (the line across from where the 3-foot lie and 4-foot line meet) should be 5 feet long.

Granite countertops cost an average of $3,250 compared to $2,250 for tile countertops. Granite is also harder to DIY than tile, given its weight and bulk, which increases the overall labor cost of installation. Over time, both types of countertops may need sealing to remain resistant to water, heat, and other common kitchen elements.

When cleaning porcelain tiles, avoid products that contain ammonia, bleach, and other harsh chemicals. Acid-based cleansers can damage the tile, though you can clean them with a diluted mixture of one-quarter cup white vinegar mixed with one gallon of hot water. It is important always to use a soft-bristled brush or sponge, since hard bristles and steel wool can scratch the tile.

Tile will almost always last longer than laminate flooring, regardless of the type of tile installed. Porcelain tile can last for 75 years or more with proper care, and even less durable ceramic tile will last for 60 years or more, provided they’re installed by a tile professional. On the other hand, laminate flooring has an average lifespan of around 20 years, and you might only get 10 to 15 years out of low-cost laminate flooring. As such, tile will add far more value to your home than laminate.

You cannot tile directly over hot mop waterproofing because tile requires a smooth, solid surface to adhere properly. Additionally, the shower bed pan needs to be raised and sloped toward the drain to prevent water from pooling. However, you can hot mop and apply a sloped mortar bed over the top (to which the tile can then be adhered).
