"I had big, big plans for a small bathroom and Brian didn't disappoint; he was a joy to work with and a pleasure to be around. My bathroom had to be gutted from the ceiling to the floor, and I wanted to go from a shower/tub combo with a closet, to a walk-in shower with a half wall, pedestal bathtub and 5 foot vanity - all in a 8' x 6.5' space. Brian was amazingly innovative when faced with a challenge, and believe me, with such a tight fit, there were many, many challenges! I don't know if we share the same taste or if he's just that intuitive, but he created exactly what I envisioned. I now have a bathroom that would look at home in any Indian Hill mansion - my only regret is that I didn't take his advise to install a pocket door. That way you could see inside the entire bathroom as you walk by....it's that beautiful."

"A+++++ Rob and his team are kind, committed, hardworking, skilled, and talented hard-scapers, landscapers, and water-scapers. I was blessed the day I called Rob after approximately 30 other phone calls. The job we desired included so many aspects of landscaping - all other companies could do one or two but not all the required landscaping, hardscaping, and waterscaping. Rob created and his team built a backyard oasis that is beyond my wildest dreams. Rob is so pleasant with every desire to start and complete a project to the customer's expectations. His team works so hard no matter the conditions. They waste not a moment, work long hours, and clean up each and every day before leaving. They are such tremendous people with very challenging jobs. Rob created a "mountain" waterfall in our backyard that could easily be in front of a business, yet it's in my yard. Rob prices his jobs fairly and did everything we wanted without fail. I cannot overstate my pleasure to do business with Rob."

"We had a small project that we wanted done being disabled I was not able to do it. We had two old window shutters above the garage that we wanted replaced. Called Tim on a Thursday an said they could do it the next day Friday. Tom came out an completed the project. We are extremely happy with the work he completed for us. We’re happy the a company like Tri State took such a small job for us when others wouldn’t. The cost was right on with no other hidden fees. Would highly recommend this company an will use them again for any future projects we have. Thanks Tim for sending Tom out we appreciate it. Thanks Gary & Kim"

"Faith Built did an excellent job. They came in and removed all the damaged flooring and cabinets in a day. They had the floor leveled the new flooring down new dishwasher installed, cabinets and counter tops done by the end of the week. Both the crew that did the destruction and the crew that installed the new were very courteous and respectful while in our home. They worked quietly and cleaned up after themselves as they went. I recommend them to anyone needing work done on their house and will be calling them anytime I need additional repairs done on mine."

Since knowing how to install countertops correctly requires in-depth knowledge and understanding of the topic, we recommend hiring a professional countertops installer near you to work on this project. Kitchen countertops are a high-visibility investment, meaning mistakes made during DIY installation will be easy to spot, may cause damage, and potentially require re-purchasing materials. Professional countertop installers have the skills, tools, and experience to place your new kitchen feature safely and correctly.
There are several countertop options available to fit your lifestyle and needs.
Granite countertops are durable and come in a variety of colors.
Soapstone countertops are prone to scratches and best in smaller kitchens.
Marble countertops are less durable than granite but a good option for busy kitchens.
Slate countertops are stain-resistant, making them easy to clean.
Limestone countertops must be sealed often to prevent scratches.
Acrylic countertops cost less than granite while still providing durability.
Laminate countertops are the most affordable but chip and fade faster.
Wood countertops need monthly sealing to maintain.
The cost to install countertops is $3,105 on average. This project cost can range from $400 to $8,500, depending on the material, edging, and countertop size.
Laminate countertops are generally the most cost-efficient, ranging from $8 to $27 per square foot. On the other hand, slate countertops are considered more luxurious and range from $30 to $90 per square foot. There are also countertop materials priced between those two, including stainless steel, granite, Corian, and wood.
The best way to save money on countertop installation is to choose an affordable material. For example, if you have a busy kitchen and need durability, choose a more affordable but lasting material like granite countertops. Likewise, if you don't use your countertops often, you can use a softer material that costs less than more sturdy ones.
Another way to cut costs is to remove and dispose of the existing countertops yourself, if possible. That way, countertop installers can get straight to placing the new feature, reducing labor costs.
It typically takes one to three days to install kitchen countertops. A few factors like size and material impact the time it takes to install a countertop. For example, if you have two slabs of countertop material, it won’t take as long to install as placing several custom pieces of countertop.
This timelines allows for removing existing countertops and any plumbing disconnect and reconnect that needs to happen. Plan on the higher end of the time frame if you've chosen custom countertops versus large slabs.
From average costs to expert advice, get all the answers you need to get your job done.

This guide covers the cost to tile a kitchen countertop and the main cost factors, including tile type and grade, kitchen size, and whether you hire a pro for the installation.

The cost of porcelain countertops is affected by many factors, primarily the material's type (tile or slab) and finish, as well as your counter’s size and shape.
