"Julius and Aaron, did 8 rooms two sets of stairs and closets in about two hours. Now normally I would think it would take longer but they did a phenomenal job! They were professional and thorough. The one thing that I will say is the standard cleaning with this company is that just, standard. The one room with some stains from previous owners looked to be gone but as it dried the stains were visible again. Otherwise I am completely happy with the rest."

"The work was performed between Sept 16-19 2019. Darryl and his crew arrived promptly at 8:30 on Sept 16 as planned. They pressure washed the entire house during the first day and began prepping the exterior wood for painting. They scraped, sanded and caulked the wood. Darryl pointed out several areas of rotted wood in addition to the ones I knew about; he repaired all of them under the original estimate. We chose the paint colors from the Sherwin Williams selection samples. Prep work continued throughout the second day while part of the crew began painting. Painting, prep work and wood repair continued through the third day. The fourth day was only for the final (second) coat in the areas still needing it. The crew was very polite and cleaned up at the end of everyday. They stored their ladders and equipment in a tidy area away from the house everyday. They arrived around 8:30 and worked until 4:00. The paint job looks great! I will definitely hire them again. Thanks, Cliff"

I was happy with the assistance provided at the showroom, i.e., suggestions for pattern for vanity top, showing me slabs inside and outside; provided draft estimate and followed up with final quickly when I made decision;

Scheduled appointment for template was timely and promptly completed.

Installation date was reasonably scheduled, however I had to call store to inquire about whereabouts of workers when they didn't show at scheduled time.  I had to call again when they didn't show at rescheduled time later in day.  I was given the choice of an evening appointment or the next day.   Chose next day due to other personal commitments.  

When installers started working, they found that the granite did not fit correctly but they were able to recut the piece on site to remedy the problem.

The backsplash pieces were not finished and the installers had to return to the shop to finish the work before returning later in the day to finish job.They installed thet undermount sink and cut the faucet holes.

Due the change in day of installation, my contractor was not able to return until the next week to install the faucets.   At that time, he found that the holes had been cut too close to the sink to allow installation of faucets.  He had a suggestion to remedy problem but I did not want him to take responsibility of recutting holes.  Since this was a remnant slab, I knew we had to work with this piece or start with new slab.  I called store immediately and notified them of the problem.  For more than a week, I played telephone tag leaving messages that were not returned promptly and when I spoke to staff, they seemed to question my contractors opinion.  A littel more than a week later, they sent a plumber and installer and were able to recut the holes so the faucets could be installed. Thankfully, the gap did not show and the finished product looked fine. 

From date of installation 7/25 to final repair work on 8/9 was two weeks of  frustration and delay. 

I wanted to support a new and local business especially one tied to the Weikert organization whom I've used in the past for my floors and rugs.  I recongize the limitations of a small operation and while the quality of the granite and the cost were very good, the errors and delays and lack of prompt response to my calls were very frustrating.  There is room for professional and technical development at Pure Granite.  

In April 2014, I contacted Pure Granite because one of the faucet handle was loosening from the base and as a result the complete handle fixture (cross-bar) rotated when it was used.  Since they installed the faucets, I felt they had the responsibility to fix the problem.   I had to leave a message and the call was not returned for over a week.  When returned, the representative said they had no record of my account and asked to verify my information in order to follow-up.  I never heard back from anyone.

"The staff at Unique Auto Detailing was very responsive on the phone, and quoted their detail package at $175 for my car. I asked about a clay bar treatment, but he suggested they evaluate the car when I bring it in to make sure I needed it. I was supposed to be there at 7AM, but my schedule changed the day before, and I called to make sure I could bring it in around 8AM. The staff member told me no problem. I dropped it off the next morning and a young man came out to look it over. He was courteous and professional. He agreed that my car would benefit from the clay bar and advised it would add $25 to the total cost, making it an even $200. I picked up the car at 4PM later that day. I could not have been happier with how my Sonata looked when I showed up at their shop. It was as close to perfect both inside and out. The paint looked brand new, and the inside was immaculate. They also took care of the trunk and engine compartment. There is no part of the car they didn't clean. Now when people read reviews like these, they have to wonder who is writing it. To ease your mind, I am a normal, hard-working guy who just wants to pay a fair price for a good job, no matter what the service. I have already recommended Unique Auto Detailing to my co-workers, and neighbors, and plan to take my wife's SUV in very soon. Just keep in mind that these guys will not be able to address deep scratches, or curbed wheels, and that is not what a car detail is meant to do. I'm sure you will be very happy with these folks."

"My whole experience with The Floor Doctor was very pleasant from start to finish.  Scott was very professional, prompt, and communicative throughout the whole process.  
The oak floors in our house were pretty badly worn.  After 8 years of use and abuse from us and our 3 young kids, they were in desperate need of attention.
Scott came out and gave us the rundown of possible treatments, and was very straightforward about what results we could expect.  We had some deep knife marks in the hardwood from carpet that had been installed on top of the oak floors previously, so we knew that whatever route we went with, short of tearing out the floors, nothing was going to get rid of the worst of the damage.   Of the options available, we decided to go with the Bona Prep Recoat, which is basically a light refinish job that involves sanding to remove the previous urethane finish, stain is then used to even any discoloring from sun damage, and then 2 coats of high-quality urethane are applied.  Scott was clear that the Recoat wasn't going to get rid of heavy marks in the wood, and given the price difference, and the fact that we were dealing with other uncorrectable damage, we opted for that over the full refinish.  Plus, with the Recoat option there was virtually no dust.
I'll say the results were excellent, and better than expected.  We had a couple areas that had significant bleaching due to sun exposure, and Scott was able to even out the color very, very well.
