Satisfied with the ball park estimate, I called and scheduled an appointment within the next week. Two individuals arrived at the expected time and we went over what I was hoping to have done. In addition, I asked a few questions about other plumbing concerns I had with our new home. They were very willing to answer my questions and take a look around. They even agreed to install an additional valve, since I had the parts and the installation would be very quick. Both the valve on the toilet and the additional ball valve were installed and the water in the house was turned back on. As of 2 weeks later, both installations seem to be working great.
