"The job went great. Dave was super responsive and came out to check out the job. We talked through some options on how to frame and trim the French doors that I had manufactured. Dave assigned Andy who came out on time and did a fantastic job. He took his time another doors, framing and created some custom trim work. The job went very well and would definitely hire Dave again."

"I called Larry to replace an exterior door for me that had rain damage and was rotting. He was at my house within 2 hours of calling him, to give me a quote. He gave a very reasonable quote and I chose to hire him. He was working out the timing to do the work at my house due to other jobs he had scheduled. Kept me in the loop and reached out to me when he had the timing worked out. I never had to seek him out. His communication throughout the job, before and after were great. The work he did looks amazing!! He got the job done, and took pride in his work. Cleaned up before he left and made sure everything was up to par. I honestly couldn't recommend him enough. If you're needing work done, the first and last call should be to Larry."

Metal stud framing parts include the studs themselves, upper and lower tracks that act as top and bottom wall plates, various angle fasteners and clips, screws for fastening pieces togeher, metal straps, c-channel supports, and thicker steel supporting structures. Roof framing metal components include pre-fabricated trusses, heavy-gauge stud pieces, and various plates and fasteners.

Modern brick houses are really stick-built homes with a brick facade for aesthetic purposes only, so most have framing. With genuine brick construction, most homeowners install furring strips over the interior of the brick and then install drywall over those strips to cover the brick wall, so they don’t have traditional framing.

Yes, walls on the top floor can be load-bearing if stacked on the floor’s foundation.

If you remove a load-bearing wall to create an entrance to a carport or covered patio, you can expect to pay between $3,200 and $9,500, with an average cost of $6,400. Factors such as the type of addition and if that area needs additional work will add to the price.
