"Living in a wooded area, our family has been truly fortunate to unearth and use the services of Patrick?s Pest Control. There isn?t a situation dealing with the removal of small wild creatures and pest control that he cannot tackle.    Patrick is always willing and able to come out at any time of the day (24-7) and 7 days a week to eliminate and remove any rodent or pest that might have either entered or creeping around your home.  Patrick?s Pest Control is our family?s ?go to? service for pest control. Since discovering his listing on YELP 2years ago some of the services we have purchased are:
Removal of several squirrels that were attempting to enter into our home through my chimney. When called Patrick?s Pest Control arrived at our doorstep within the hour and set up pest-traps. Unlike other pest control companies, Patrick?s prices are very reasonable.  Furthermore, those other companies were not concerned about be accommodating they only would schedule an appointment on the weekdays and during the hours of 9am-5pm. If a rodent enters your home on the weekend you are left to deal with it creeping and crawling around and throughout your house until Monday.

Captured and removed a possum that was roaming around in the garage.
Because our house is located a wooded area occasionally stinkbugs, ants and spiders may infiltrate.   As prevention, each spring Patrick?s Pest Control sprays the entire house consequently we have experienced any other bug problems.
Our family highly recommends the services of Patrick?s Pest Control.

"I have used Precise for two years now. My main problem is carpenter ants and they are able to control them without spraying poison. I have 11 parrots so I cannot have poison sprayed in my house. They are very professional and are willing to take care of any specific requests I have when they come out to do a service call. In addition if problem is not resolved within 7 days of treatment they come out at no charge and will treat accordingly until the problem is resolved. Recently I requested that they climb into my attic and inspect for hornets and wasps. They found several old nests and brought them down at no additional charge. One time we had a mouse get in the house and Eric {my tech and one of the owners of the company) actually tracked the mouse down and caught him! I live in a heavily wooded area so routine pest control is necessary. I highly recommend this company, good work at a fair price."

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

Some of the plants listed above, like daffodils, are poisonous to many animals if eaten. But wild animals instinctively avoid them, for the most part. Household pets don’t always have the same survival instinct, which is why it’s a good idea to familiarize yourself with common plants that pose a danger to cats and dogs.

Chirping noises, droppings, scratches on the walls, and stains at entries and exits are all signs that you have bats in your house or, more specifically, your attic. Because bats are nocturnal, there’s a chance that bats have already infested your home before you start to see warning signs, so don’t delay if you notice anything. If you see a bat or two at sunrise or sunset near your property, that’s another telltale sign that they could be setting up shop inside your space.

This depends on if their needs are being met. They'll likely return night after night if they have access to food, water, and adequate shelter. If this changes, they’ll look for another roosting spot. This is why bright lights and other dissuading factors often work when removing bats from a property.

Yes, bats can cause quite a bit of damage to the attic. Their weight and movement from flying around can damage insulation, and they can chew through wiring and the walls. As if this isn’t enough, they leave their droppings throughout, which carry harmful bacteria and is dangerous for humans to breathe in, not to mention the extremely foul-smelling odor.

Finding a dead bat in your home can be frightening, even during spooky season. The United States Department of Interior states that if you find a dead bat, take these steps:

  • Contact your state wildlife agency to report the finding

  • Photograph the bat safely to help the wildlife agency determine the species

  • Use disposable gloves to place the bat into a plastic bag, making sure to spray with disinfectant and close the bag securely

  • Thoroughly clean your hands and any clothing that came into contact with the bat

If you see one dead bat, you might have a large bat infestation that needs to be treated immediately. Call a local pest control company to properly inspect your home for other bats.
