"Prompt professional and thorough. We live in the country so do the bugs... but not in my house. Ants spiders and bees bye bye. I’ve already signed up for the quarterly treatments. They’re my go to for any future pest control too!!!"

"I looked up pest control on home advisor, sent Elite Professional my number and got a call back the very same day. I told him about my pest problem and he was at my house within a few hours and treated the same day! Great price. Great communication. He called to check on us several times before he came back for the second treatment. My home us pest free due to Elite Professional Extermination. I can't thank them enough! I highly recommend and will use again for all my pest needs."

"I bought a big deal for a house with linear feet less than 220 at $899. They had me pay $500 extra since they said their deal was too good. I had to pay someone else to pick up the pavers along the front of the house, since they said this was not part of their job. It was, and the job was now 3/4 done. They came back on another day to finish the job. Very disappointed in their work.

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

While pressure-treated wood offers extra protection against decay and insects, it’s not entirely immune to termites. These pests can still snack on treated wood, so if you spot them, be ready for termite treatment costs that range anywhere from $73 to $1,730. However, your final price ultimately depends on how bad the infestation is and the treatment method. To keep your deck and home safe, regular inspections and preventative measures — like sealing gaps around the home and installing screens on doors and windows — are essential to protect your home, saving you from costly repairs in the future.

There’s no denying the striking resemblance, but squash bugs are different from the brown marmorated stink bug. While both are shield-shaped and emit a foul odor when crushed, they belong to different insect families and target different plants. Squash bugs primarily attack squash, pumpkins, and other cucurbits, while stink bugs have a much broader range of host plants, including fruits, vegetables, and ornamental plants. Their eggs and feeding damage also differ, making proper identification key for effective pest control.

Will coffee grounds get rid of squash bugs?

What smell do squash bugs hate?

Yes, many services include cleanup and sanitization to remove droppings and odors. Confirm with your provider.

Yes, in some cases if your damper is left open, animals can come down your chimney. In these instances, it’s more likely that they have fallen in while looking for a safe spot rather than entered your house intentionally. Leaving your damper closed or installing a chimney cap can prevent animals from coming inside.

A flea can live as long as 100 days when it has a live host to feed on. They tend to live a much shorter life when they’re on a short-haired dog or cat versus a pet with longer hair. Without a host, fleas will typically only survive for about one to two weeks.
