"I Deeply appreciate Doug responding to my complicated gutter repair problem left the unfinished by former roofer contractor. Doug assessed the problem and made the necessary repairs which took more than one visit. He willingly returned to tweak additional issues at no extra cost. I definitely recommend Doug and the work he does. BJM"
"I couldn’t be any happier with the work done by Endor Group Inc and would highly recommend them. Dane is everything you could possibly hope for in a contractor:
1. He is honest. If he wasn’t 100% confident that he could complete the task, he has expert resources he could reach out to or sub contract through to make sure that job is done right.
2. He has all the right tools to complete the job and do it neatly.
3. He is very meticulous. I thought I was OCD, but everything Dane did was done perfectly, and if anything needed fixed he would do whatever he had to in order to get it done right.
4. He is punctual. This is probably the biggest one for me. It was such a relief to work with Dane because his communication was impeccable. He actually showed up when he said he would, but if something changes he will let you know as far in advance as he can.
I can’t thank Dane and Endor Group enough for helping my wife and I turn this into the house we’ve always dreamed of!"
"This was a whole house renovation project. The house was over 100 years old so there were many unexpected issues, but Tony and his team persevered and came up with many thoughtful suggestions that greatly improved the end result. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others looking for a reliable contractor."

"As with all home improvement projects, you're going to run into unseen problems. Tom had to move a dishwasher, a dryer and washing machine. He noticed that the dryer vent was installed incorrectly and there was an electrical issue with the dishwasher. He fixed all that. He didn't have to be concerned about any of that, but he genuinely was concerned. These are busy guys and I can see why. They came out immediately to look at the project. They gave me an estimate as to when they could do the job, and they called every week with an update. Very reassuring. They are kind and very professional. I already have another project for them. Can't wait. It truly has been a wonderful experience. You hear so much negative crap about contractors and scam artists these days, it is SO refreshing to come across a company like this!!!! Oh, and the floor is beautiful. Thank you, Tom and team.
"We are so happy with our new pool deck. This company is the best contractor hands down. Professional. They kept to the scheduled time frame. Great and fun family buisness. We will be using them again on future projects. LOVE OUR DECK"
Unfinished Carpentry questions, answered by experts
Yes, you can find ceiling joists using simple tools if a stud finder isn't available.
Using a hammer requires patience and a keen ear. Gently tap the ceiling in a grid pattern, listening for sound changes. A hollow sound indicates space between joists, while a solid, dull thud suggests a joist. Mark the location with a pencil and confirm by tapping from different angles.
Alternatively, you can use a nail, but this method will leave small holes. You'll feel increased resistance when the nail hits a joist. Mark the spot and repeat the process every 16 or 24 inches to map the joist locations. This method is considered less reliable than using a stud finder.
Yes, a 2x6 should hold a porch swing and safely support the load. A smaller joist runs the risk of it not offering enough support for the swing. If you have a joist smaller than 2x6, add additional bolstering support.
Enhances property value, ensures safety, and provides a sound basis for future construction.
A-frame homes are on the smaller side. While there’s no set square footage amount it has to be, it will usually come in around 1,000 square feet or smaller.
Carpenters are trained to take on a wide range of home projects. You can hire a carpenter to do framing, roofing, build custom furniture, and make significant upgrades to your home. General carpenters are usually able to handle most jobs. However, you may also choose to hire a carpenter who specializes in a specific type of carpentry.
